I'm looking through the Entertainment Weekly fall preview issue trying to figure out what shows I might be watching this year (at least until they get cancelled). Here is what I am interested in:

Monday
Terra Nova (FOX 8PM) premieres Sept. 26
House (FOX 9PM) returns Oct. 3

Tuesday
Not too excited about anything on this night but I might consider checking out the following two. Maybe not.
Ringer (The CW 8PM) premieres Sept. 13
Unforgettable (CBS 10PM) premieres Sept. 20

Wednesday
I don't see anything that I plan on watching. If I was already into shows like The Middle and Modern Family, I might watch the ABC comedy lineup, but I shall enjoy a night free from primetime network TV instead.

Thursday
Bones (FOX 9PM) returns Nov. 3
Person of Interest (CBS 9PM) premieres Sept. 22 (if I like this show, then I'll have to use the DVR once Bones is on)

Friday
This night is pretty packed
Chuck (8PM NBC) returns Oct. 21
Grimm (9PM NBC) premieres Oct. 21
Fringe (9PM FOX) returns Sept. 23
Supernatural (9PM The CW) returns Sept. 23

Also, The Clone Wars returns next Friday, September 16. So, my DVR will be working overtime on Fridays.

Saturday doesn't have much in the way of new programming anymore. Sunday still has The Simpsons, but I haven't really watched that in many years. I have been buying the DVD's though, and will eventually watch them someday. There is a new show on Sunday involving fairy tale characters that I might check out (Once Upon a Time, 8PM ABC, premieres Oct. 23), but I don't think I've watched any regular network show on Sunday in a long time.

MSP, you have more shows than I watch, but all of mine are on your list (LISTS... ), except for Pan Am:
- Sundays (Simpsons, and apparently Pan Am should be on just before it at 7pm PST?)
- Mondays (House)
- Thirsdays (Bones)
- Fridays (Clone Wars)

That Once Upon a Time show also looks interesting, but I don't know if it's interesting enough to become a regular.

How I Met Your Mother, Bones, Chuck and to a lesser degree The Clone Wars.

Psych will also be back in October. I guess that will give me something to watch on Wednesday.

Pan Am should be on just before it at 7pm PST?)It is on 10PM on ABC.

I saw it as 10/9 Central and guessed (wrongly) that meant 7 PST. But I figured the "adult themes" aspect meant it should at least have been on by 9pm. That "late" on a Sunday night means DVRing for me.

I finally got around to watching Pan Am today. It's not bad; looks nice, but not enough plot and characterization to pull me in every Sunday. I know it's only the first episode.

BTW, that is the most LAME episode title for a show about airplanes. "Pilot." Really? And the show was more about the stewardesses than who was flying the thing. Stupid...

I don't watch much network TV, but was actually considering that one because I have the eternal hots for Christina Ricci. :beard:

I missed the 2nd episode of Pan Am, but this one placed its setting in a historical event: JFK's berlin speech. Pretty decent storylines intermixed, especially the French woman returning to Germany for the first time since The War. Next week: stewardesses on tropical islands!

Anyone else so disinterested in the World Series that they're hoping for a 4-game sweep to put the new FOX season shows on sooner (maybe)?

And p.s. - the Pan Am stewardesses-in-Rangoon scenes were pretty good, eye candy-wise.

I am disinterested in the WS, but not for that reason.

You sure baseball is still going on? I was pretty sure the season ended a week ago....

Well, it's at least going to be five games; with that now the case, let the series go the whole seven.

I guess the premiere of Chuck and Grimm got moved back a week to October 28th. I was checking the listings last night and did not see them there. Also, Fringe was a rerun, so I didn't have to record it while I was watching Supernatural.

Chuck in my market at least will be on at 12:05 am Sunday morning. High school football is being shown in its place.

I'm guessing Fringe will not be on or will be a rerun since the World Series got postponed a day.

I missed the pilot for Once Upon a Time last week, but I caught episode 2 last night and a few brief look-ins when they re-ran the first before it. I don't think I'll be loading it into my DVR schedule. It's not bad, even this early on, just not interesting enough for me to start following.

I find it interesting that a Fables series languished in pre-development until it was dropped, and there are several shows that border on being Fables ripoffs this season.

Even if it sucks, I'd kill to see a live-action Bigby Wolf.

Now I realize I missed it last night. I guess I will watch that on demand as well. I did watch Chuck and Grimm on Friday, though, and enjoyed both.

Watched Grimm the other night. Pretty good. They use the same effect for human disguised monsters as Devils Advocate, which is kind of unnerving and creepy. I think it'll get farther than the models as vampires shows lately with regular audiences.

I haven't missed an episode of Person of Interest yet. It's good also.

Going to watch Terra Nova tonight. I haven't decided yet about this one. I keep waiting for something more to happen with the dinosaurs, like a large T-Rex to show up and munch and general havoc, but so far mostly the stories revolve around the inhabitants and the 6r's.
