View Full Version : Ghost of Obi Wan question

In the UK, the Ghost of Obi Wan came free with the Trilogy Special Edition VHS boxset. The boxes that Obi Wan came in are all numbered.
What I'd like to know is how many of these numbered boxes were produced for the UK market. Mine is 008??? (it was the lowest number I could choose from at the time). Because it is 6 digits, could the total be 999,999?
Any info would be apreciated

Oh I don't know this one. It doesn't say anywhere on the box what the numbering is? I'm in the U.S. and I got one in the white mailer box.

Ooops, looks like my memory is failing me, it was only a five digit number, not 6. Anyway, I've attached a picture showing the printed number but unfortunately, it makes no other reference to it anywhere else.

As far as I can recall... this was a UK Exclusive. We were able to receive these here in the States a number of ways. You could buy some snack products and send in the proofs with some cash and get it OR you could get it as part of the JEDI SPIRITS Cinema Scene. We had no numbering on the mail aways, so I think the question is best suited for the folks in the UK.

Thanks guys, I'm going to a sci-fi memorabilia show tomorrow in Birmingham (UK) so I'll try and find out the actual number there, but 100,000 seems about right.

Only knowing from what a friend of mine told me (he owns a comic shop here and is partners with one in the UK) a mere 30,000 were made in that box. Could be a load of bull-poo, but he was honest about everything else he's ever told me.

I would like to know the correct production #. Here's a Photo

I currently have 4 of the Obi Wans.
I'm not sure how high the number goes but I have seen one in the 50,000 area.
Mine are ranging between 2,000 and 38,000.
I won't say how much they cost me, but living in the UK there are plenty at the moment.
Any good collector outlet should have them.
