I was treated to a sneak peek at 10 minutes of the new "Star Wars" movie Tuesday evening at the ShoWest convention, and it sure looked sexier than the other episodes. Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman display real passion as Anakin and Amidala. They kiss, embrace and touch each other like lovers.:sur: In one suggestive scene, Anakin wakes up in bed with a satisfied smile.

If GL wants to preserve a PG rating then I highly doubt there will be a lovemaking scene. If there is, then I will forever lose all respect for GL's vision.

you'd be suprised what you can get away with in a PG film. passionate kissing and hinted at, but not seen sex will easily make it into a PG film. heck, i've seen PG-13 films with the F-word and female nudity!:sur:

and if the above scene is a correct description, it's actually necessary if the wedding is to be believable.

I'm sure they won't show any of the action, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's implied. Maybe the viewer was reading too much into Hayden's expressions . . . perhaps he was just smiling from "touching each other like lovers" :D :D :D

But about the love scene, I wouldnt be surprised to see some physical stuff going on. I mean this is where Luke and Leia come from. We know what they do, but George can only show us so much.

If Luke and Leia are born in Episode III, this scene is going to be important besides it would be really hard to have Padme get pregnant and deliver the twins in the same film. As for see any action, no way in hell, GL would make the scene to suggest that they did the deed without showing it...

Yes this will be a very carefully planned topic, in the origional trilogy we didn't even see Han and Liea use tongues so I doubt we'll be seeing any sex in AOTC, it will just be very descreatly hinted at, such as we see them together in Padmes room getting passionate then that's where the scene ends, when we come back to them we'll just have to presume whats happened.

I can see it all now, the 3rd wave of figures from AOTC will feature naked Padme and Anakin figures. Also the sneak peek figure for Ep III will be Padme with birthing action. This will go along nicely with the "action" features that Hasbro seems to be big on now. (pun intended)

Yes, I can see it, she has soft rubber like plastic on her belly which when you press inwards it automatically opens her legs and out pops baby Luke, she could also have a little watch battery inside her so that when you do push her belly, she makes screams of Labour pains. Yeah!

I don't want to see natalie do the nasty with Hayden. I can't see that that would do anything other than satisfy deep cravings in certain fans minds and elswhere... But it really serves no point to see them get up to anything. His smile could be his love and his satisfaction at having turned Padme from stern senator into lover. She does resist his affections quite strongly just the way that Leia did with Han.

I'd rather see C-3PO mating with a hyperdrive unit to be honest if there's going to be any kind of funny business. Actually Ricky McC was playing down the love story at Sho West. Saying the movie was more action of the blasters and spaceships kind than down and dirty with the kids. This is possibly the first and last time I'm actually going to believe Ricky McC and cling to those words like they were gold. :(

If Episode III is not to far from Episode II (is supposed 6 years of clone wars), Any & Padme action should be before Ep III, so there's no meaning in dirty action in AOTC....so here we have to suppose that Anakin should live with Padme or maybe keep that love secret , like we suposse will happen with that fie backing scene 'we could keep it secret'...I mean there's a clear meaning that something happened and it WILL go on...(celine dion singing......:kiss:

Assuming Ep3 takes place one year or more after Ep2: we see Padme and Anakin marry at the end of Ep2. Thus if Padme shows up pregnant at the start of Ep3 then it will be fairly obvious that they bumped uglies. So there would be no reason to show it on screen.

Besides, I'm not sure if premarital sex is something George wants in a SW film. If he does, then what's the point of them getting married at all? I agree with Jargo, the only purpose it would serve would be to give all those horny fanboys something to wack-off to.

no one is talking about nudity or actually seeing sexual intercourse in a star wars film. but with that said, i wouldn't be offended if anakin and padme "took their relationship" to the next level before marriage. it can be handled tastefully without actually showing the act.

plenty of older films from the 50's or 60's had a couple passionately kissing then cut away and alluded to what took place , all the while leaving younger viewers innocence still intact and in no way lending itself to be classified as pornography.

besides, i bet that fireplace scene where anakin and padme are talking about keeping the relationship a secret is probably where the relationship will be consumated. as for premarital sex, lucasfilm gives benefits to same sex partners, so hetrosexual pre marital sex could in no way be looked down on.

From what I've heard Episode III will take place right after Attack of the Clones. As for the love, no way will we see Anakin and Padme making love. I would be suprised if such a scene was suggested but I wouldn't put it passed GL...

You'll probably see Anakin and Padmé kissing, then getting onto the bed, but before any action starts the camera will pan to the open window with the curtains blowing in the wind...

Well if the clone wars is really supposed to last 6 years, and E2 being the ATTACK of the FIRST clone army (that we know of) and the Jedi are supposedly supposed to fight the mandalorians during the Clone Wars (which I think if it happens will happen due to Jango's death) and wars don't start right away I'm sure there would be at least another year of half a year until the Clone Wars themselves then I doubt Ani and Padme would be having sex in E2, especially "pre-martial" due to Georgie basing Anakin off of Jesus basically so that would be quite ironic, although an interesting twist. I think that stuff will take place between E2 and E3 in which we'll probably see the wedding as the ending scene in E2.

I would have been okay with that as long as it was tastefully done.

In season 3 (Volume II) of the Clone Wars, Anakin comes home, kisses Padme in their apartment, and then you see an exterior shot of the lights going out.
