i know this has prob been asked a whole load of times but if ur dling something in quicktime how do i save it to my hard drive?
I know it involves temp dl files..but if anyone could help with the proceedure id be most greatful! Many thanks!

ok, basiclly what you do is before you visit the movie page, go into the internet options, and delete all the temporary internet files. then dld the movie, and after its completely done, just look in the c:/windows/temporary internet files dir. it should be there.
or, if you want, go dld Quciktime 5 again, and enter the registration info above. it gives you the option to do it automaticly. :)

type in www.quicktime.com into ur explorer address bar, this will automatically take u to APPLE's website where u will find a link to download FOR FREE (do not get the pro version unless u want to pay) Quicktime v.6. Download this file (its quite hefty in size) & install it. It will ask u if u want to register, for now say no. Restart ur machine when prompted too.
Open Quicktime & go into EDIT. Then select Preferences (located at bottom) & then Registration. U can then put in the necessary details.

Thanks for the serial number. Now that I finally have QuickTime Pro I can watch any QT movie I want! :D

so..does quicktime 6 wrok for the movies that can only be played on quicktime pro?

Yes, it works if you downloaded the Pro version of Quicktime6. :D
