Landspeeder with Luke Skywalker

Anybody can tell me about the new landspeeder with luke?

It's going to be a new 25" Anniversary version of the Lanspeeder with a Luke: Tatooine pack-in. I heard that it may be an exclusive for TRU, but that could change. There is some rumors floating about that the Luke will finally come with his poncho, since they have never done him with it, in the last dozen Luke: Tatooine's that they've done.

I'm getting pretty tired of those luke tatooines.

I'm kind of looking forward to it. But I agree, they've done WAY too many Tatooine Lukes. Why have they NEVER done a basic carded Jedi Luke resculpt? This was one of the very first Lukes, and they have never gone back and done it right.

Granted, they released about 5 eclusives of him in the black Jedi outfit, but A) they all sucked &
B) they were usually difficult to get (Skiff Luke, Complete Galaxy Luke)

I think I'll get this one though. I'd like to see Luke in his poncho even if it is another Tattoine Luke. And also I lost my landspeeder...:(:(:(:(

And I haven't liked most of the Tatooine Lukes so far... I might get this one.

I got the landspeeder and it sucks. I hope this new one isn't just a re-release of the same mold. Luke I can live without. I have more Lukes cluttering the place up than rehashed Obi Wans and mauls!
If this is a new sculpt that is more accurate and not as chunky looking I'll try to get it to replace the old one. But otherwise forget it. I'm not buying into this 25th anniversary cash-in affair. One or two items I can live with as a celebration of the anniversary. I thought the figure 2-packs were enough and now there's a plethora of stuff supposedly to celebrate the anniversary when really it's an excuse to shove out tired old product another time and rake in the cash.

Cynical - moi? :D

The shuttle is a different kettle of fish altogether though. :happy:

Well they couldn't really put in Hoth Luke or Final Duel Luke.. ;)

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind alot of the Luke Tatooine resculpts especially the CTC Luke, FB Luke and Blastshield Luke, I hope this one is very well articulated and comes with a hilt.

Well, it's more like I just wish for something different. It's not that I didn't like any of the Tat Lukes. You're right that the FB and CTC versions were really nice figures. I liked them both. And if the Luke with the landspeeder is any good, I won't mind buying him.

I just wouldn't mind something different like a really good Jedi Duel type Luke, in his black outfit, with really good articulation.:)
