Allright! For once it looks like I'm one of the first from SSG to get one of these exclusives!

I stopped by my local TRU (Orem, UT) last week and asked about the TIE Interceptor. I didn't have the SKU at the time, but the floor employee I talked to knew all about it. He told me it was coming in this week and to check back every now and then. He said they should get more than one case, but probably not a whole bunch.

I decided to stop in yesterday around 5 and found the shelf sticker with a sign above it stating something about only letting customers get one apiece since they were being shipped in limited quantities. Of course the shelf was barren. However, the guy who had helped me last week was standing nearby talking with two other employees. They were eyeing me as if I were somekind of pimp. I overheard one of them say something like, "I guess we should put more out." Another replied "Yeah, so this guy can buy them all." I really wanted to go over to him and chew him out, but in the spirit of not wanting to make enemies, I ignored him. A couple of minutes later the helpful guy came back out with a case of them, but it was only half full. He put the remaining three on the shelf so I grabbed only one and left the other two (probably for scalpers). Looks like the case holds six total.

The ship looks pretty sweet, but I'm disappointed that it doesn't have any electronics or extra features over the original POTF TIE, like a pull-up cockpit seat. Like the B-Wing, it's nice to finally get a new ship. However, there is no justification for the high price over the features. Just blow off panels and a TIE pilot. It's a good ship to get if you really want one and don't care so much about the price.

Well, I'm all set for the TIE Bomber and Snowspeeder. Bring it on!

Hopefully between Sith Worm and Bubba Fatt I can find one of these. I don't want one for myself, but I may be able to trade one for an Eopie, and that would be worth the price. Or if nothing else, I can have something to trade for a TIE Bomber (the only one I REALLY want) or a Snow Speeder (I do want the Dak figure if possible).

Well I have a friend at a toys r us and he was going to save me one. Except they came in over the weekend when he was not there. He showed me the computer. There was one on hold for an employee. A practice I am not sure I like. But what can you do? He also showed that there were just over 1000 allocated for the Ca. nev. Az. Region. 280+ had been shipped. that left 800+ left. I hope there are more than this! I do not want to start a riot here, but hopefully the warehouse that stocks the warehouse 's gets restocked!
