I have yet to hear anything about Walmart participating in the April 23 "Midnight Madness" event. Where I live in NJ, I was able to hit both a TRU and Walmart almost simultaneously back in 99'. I just was wondering if anybody has heard anything.

I am going to my local Wal-Mart this year instead of driving all the way to a TRU that may or may not be open. Hopefully I can get the toys, books, and Soundtrack in one go. And get the TIE bomber and Snowspeeder while I'm there. Killing a flock of birds with one stone as it were...

Just go to a 24/7 Wal-Mart and then they should have the stuff out around midnight. I mean with all the trouble this stuff has been causing them, don't you think they would want to get it out ASAP? :D

Anybody hear that the collection 2 case is not being shipped until June? What is up with this? Is it just that particular case assortment, or that entire collection in general?

I too plan on hitting the Wal-Mart near me instead of TRU.

Well, TRU seems to be unwilling to provide any info regarding midnight sales in my area, so I think it's Wally World for me.

I happen to live near the only 24 hour Wal-Mart that I know of in SoCal. :)

Enough 80's pop jokes.
I spoke to a Walmart employee in the toy dept. yesterday about the 23rd.
He said they were planing on displays in the isles of the toy dept. and also in electronics "if"(?) they get the trailer.
He also said the stuff will be out at midnight on the 22nd and they expected alot of people there.
This is Augusta Maine guys!!
Those of you in larger areas should be in for a treat.
I actually expect the oposite.Small areas like mine will be better geared for nothing and the larger ones will be caught flatfooted so to speak.IMHO :)
