View Full Version : What's your favorite Mail in/Exclusive?

Simply put, what's your favorite exclusive or mailin figure???

my favorite, has gotta be......Mace Windu........

Now, there's not a lot to choose from....packins don't count....

only exclusive HTF figures, that can't be acquired any other way than mailing for them/getting them at an event......or the secondary market......

here's a list (Probably not complete)

Han Solo Stormtrooper (Froot Loops Mailaway)

Obi-Wan Kenobi Spirit (Lay's Potato Chips Mailaway)

B'Omarr Monk (Internet/Obi Wan Kenobi Mailaway)

Cantina Band Member (Fan Club Mailaway)

Oola and Salacious Crumb (Fan Club Mailaway)

Muftak and Kabe (Internet/Fan Club Mailaway)

Mace Windu (In-Store Mailaway)

Wuher (Fan Club Mailaway)

25th Anniversary Toy Fair Vader (Toy Fair Giveaway)

Jorg Sacul (Celebration II Giveaway)

Honorable mention, The Cantina Bandmembers - would be better if they could actually hold their instruments
4. Oola and Salacious Crumb - Oola is okay, but the lizard monkey is lame
3. Wuher - I'm glad they made him
2. Kabe & Muftak - Both are pretty cool (Very close to being my favorite)
1. B'Omarr Monk

Now, shouldn't the AT-AT Driver, Pote Stnkin (?), Death Star Droid, and Hoth Leia also be on your list of figures? You had to aquire them the same way as most of the others....And Wuher did end up showing up in the stores (I got mine for $2 at TRU).

The B'Ommar monk is best, one of my favourite figures ever made, with a second placing for the Kabe and Muftak, both very good. I also like the Spirit of Obi-Wan, a very nice addtion to the figure range, and better I believe than the Jedi Spirits 3pack as it is a solid figure.

Nope the "Fan Club Four" is not on the list for a reason.....

Toys R Us eventually got 'em.....and sold 'em for $1.97

If thats the case, then Wuher shouldn't be on the list since the same thing happened with him at Toys R' Us. Spirit Obi-Wan also showed up in stores (Meijers) for $2.99, so you could say the same thing about him.

There is also one figure that you forgot to mention, the Bespin Guard from the Carbonite Freezing Chamber.

I was thinking the same thing about Wuher.

I never heard of Meijers. In fact, I am finally getting that Obi Wan Spirit (won it as part of an auction).

Meijers is a supermarket chain found in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. There website can be seen here (http://www.meijer.com/). After the Lay's offer was over, Meijers bought a good deal of the left over Spirit Obi-Wans through a mailing company and distributed them through there stores. They could be found hanging on the pegs next to the normal POTF2 figures in protector cases used for loose figures. They were sold two ways, by themselves for $2.99 or packed in with the mail away Action Masters Gold C-3PO for $4.99. The mail away Action Masters Gold C-3PO was also sold by itself for $2.99.

I never knew about Wuher, so it's an oversight......

as for the Spirit of Obi Wan at Meijers.....that's just weird......

so we can include the Fan Club Four then......

2 Mace Windu
1 Spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi

The Sneak Preview Mace Windu is my favorite. Perfect Samuel L. Jackson figure. The B'omar Monk is a close second.

B'omarr Monk without a doubt.

The B'omarr Monk has always been one of my fav figures period, and is definitely the best exclusive IMO.

After that, I'd say Kabe & Muftak and Wuher, b/c they were never made before.

Han as Stormtrooper for sure
it was awsome and I waited and waited for it

Definitely Kabe & Muftak - They are awesomely sculpted, and are just great all around!

08-19-2002, 08:04 PM
For me it's a toss up between B'Omarr Monk and Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise.

08-19-2002, 08:28 PM
I don't really count Wuher as an exclusive. I found well over 80 of them at TRU for $1.99! I bought about 8 of them for trades and he hung around TRU for a good month or two.

Personal favorites are:

3. Kabe and Muftak
2. Oola and Salacious Crumb
1. Mace Windu

I REFUSE to vote for Han in Stormtrooper Outfit because he SHOULD have been available on a regular card!

Hey sith_killer_99.....I remember when I was in about fifth grade...waiting and waiting to come across a Han in Stormtrooper disguise at my local Wal-mart. Little did I know, I had missed the figure by well over a year. Plus, I never eat Fruit Loops! I still don't have it, but I made a custom one by cutting the head of Han Solo Endor, and putting it on the Luke Stormtrooper body.....It looks exactly the same!

08-20-2002, 06:20 AM
Hehehe, yeah, customs are great for that sort of thing. I did a custom with a CommTech Han and a CommTech Stormtrooper.

I also have the Mail-Away and the D.S. Escape Cinema Scene Han Troopers.

I just REALLY want to see a carded Han in Stormtrooper disguise.

I feel Hasbro should re-sculpt both Han and Luke with the newer style Stormtrooper bodies.

4. Obi-Wan Kenobi Spirit (Lay's Potato Chips Mailaway)
3. Oola and Salacious Crumb (Fan Club Mailaway)
2. B'Omarr Monk (Internet/Obi Wan Kenobi Mailaway)
1. Muftak and Kabe (Internet/Fan Club Mailaway)

Mine's definitely Han in Stormtrooper Disguise. Just because of the memories. I was so excited when I found out they were doing a mail away offer for the first time since the vintage line!

Plus, for a long time, he was the best figure in the POTF2 line IMO. :)

Second place goes to the B'omarr Monk; he's just a great figure.

Here's another vote for Bomarr Monk. Really, really neat figure.
I had to pay a lot for Han because I couldn't get it in Canada. I was so happy to get him, but a newer more articulated version is required, as is one of Luke.
Muftak and Kabe, and Mace Windu sneak preview hold warm places in my heart as well, because I ordered 5 of each of them and made a tidy profit selling them off. Sorry, Ill plead guilty to any and all charges of scalping them, but I didn't know you guys back then (plus, it did feel good:eek::D).

B'omarr Monk all the way. Has anyone read the history of this group of monks? It's very interesting.

I really liked Kabe and Muftak the most.:)
