Hmm I posted today in this very forum that I thought Brianstoys was a bit over priced for selling figures for $11.99 - $19.99 since they are at walmart for $5.88
now that post magically disappeared, how do I know this?, well I have about 4 emails saying people replied to this post and I clicked the link to view the post and now it is gone.
I also did a search for all my posts and it is no longer there.
I thought the forums where here to spread information, not sensor them.

Only the government (ie. city, state, federal entities) can be liable for violating "Freedom of Speech" 1st Amendment rights. Last time I checked, SSG as a company was not operated by the gov't, but by private citizens. This means they can moderate this message board however they see fit, including erasing certain posts. But, I'm only a law student. What would I know? But the way I see it, membership here is voluntary, and the MB exists as a service through the courtesy of SSG.
Don't get me wrong though... I do agree that BT's prices are overpriced.

Umm ok pinoysith, thanks for your public / private / corporate speech.
And you are just a law student "what would you know" your words not mine....

he's probably having to clean things up since every kid and his dad are bombarding this forum with their "recent finds". or maybe it just slipped down to page 2. funny how people forget that little page counter at the bottom.:)
besides, from what i've seen, the toys are very abudant. anyone who pays scalper prices right now is a doofus.:crazed:

He deleted it.
I had a post of mine deleted yesterday also.
He doesn't want any of his sponsors bashed... or in my case, a potential rival website advertised.

ENOUGH already!
I am not trying to bash anyone here, but I, as well as many of the "old timers" here have posted and taken part in MANY discussions about "Brian's Toys".
Most of which were VERY unfavorable towards Brian.
So to say that about SirSteve is unfair IMHO!

Umm... I have not deleted anything in this manner. It doesn't matter to me if you don't like one of our advertisers or not. I am not making you buy from them. However, I will check with our other moderators (that have the ability to delete posts) to see what is going on. And as for other website links, it doesn't matter to me either... you are going to go where you want to, no matter if it's posted here or not.

As a follow-up... you referring to this thread swcollector?

And for potf2, I seen your post the other day and one of the moderators probably deleted it because you just don't plug your own site on your very first post. It's something you just don't do.

Hey swcollector, if you notice on SirSteve's link there, you'll see that your thread was merged into an earlier thread complaining about not just Brian's Toys, but many of the online retailers. It had nothing to do with freedom of speech, I merged them together because the SAGA forum is very busy and needs to be as streamlined as possible to allow for maximum discussion.

I do agree to some degree to disagree. And Iam not even a Law student. Really we are not forced to buy from who ever. And that is why I always say to you guy's dont buy from 2nd hand dealer's and scalper's and high over priced store's, when you do this they end up getting all of us. As true collectors we must help one another and sell at a good price not a dealer's price. I do this. I cant stand 2nd hand dealer's rip of art. them JAWA SCUM!! they dont even no what STAR WARS is about!!
