What's the deal with the Twi'lek????

Most notably, Bib Fortuna???

most Twi'Lek females are pretty attractive, save for those large tail things comin' outta their heads......they look normal almost (Well, they do have strange skin color)

but Bib Fortuna's only similarity is his head things.....

he's got razor sharp teeth, and these two little hangdown things on his neck fat.....

even Orn Free Ta (Another Twilek) doesn't have those.....

so what's the deal?, why is Bib different????

for the record, the skin colors I've seen are:

Blue (Orn, and the chicks who were 'pedicuring' Sebulba)

Red (The chicks fawning over Watto)

White (Lyn Me, Bib Fortuna)

and

Green (Oola)

any significance on skin color?

Well if you read the EU (I guess Lucas would also use this concept) the male Twi'leks dominate their society and sale the females as slaves which they also shave down their fangs but I forget why their headtails are like that, I guess in Lucas' universe the females can't use their headtails because in the Young Jedi Knight series there was a female twi-lek who had her headtails like Bib's. I'm guessing Orn Fre Taa is possibly a different species of Twi'Lek kinda like the difference between Jar-Jar and Boss Nass.
