for those craving the toys mc coy indiana jones, but don't have $800 to get one off ebay, i have found a very good imitation.
it's an unauthorized version of indiana jones called "the adventurer" and is made by a company called toy action.
the figure' head is an excellent likeness of harrison ford mounted on a dragon body. the clothes are outstanding except for the jacket and hat, which can easily be replaced. i have the kenner vintage jacket and a re-cast of the toys mc coy fedora i got off e-bay. the only other sub par piece of equipment is the holster, which also can be replaced with a better version.
i got this figure off e-bay, and was hesitant, because it looks horrible with the crappy hat and jacket. but replace those two pieces and you'll be very pleased. this figure is selling for $40-$70 on e-bay. and no, i'm not the seller.:) , just one very satisfied indiana jones fan who finally has an excellent 12 inch version of this character.
