The Royal Guard Possible variant?

I happened to pick up two royal guards and i was just looking at the Visor on the mask and one of them is silver and the other is A dark maroon. I was wondering if anyone else who had these figures has noticed this or not.

I will try to get a scan of this for you guys to see as soon as i can but i don't have a scanner available to me.

I'm more concerned that when I took the force-pike thingy out of his hand that it seemed to remove the paint from underneath so that there is a silver line across his palm.

And how the hell do you pose the lightning on the staff? I try and it looks ridiculous.

I haven't taken them out of the packages but it doesn't look like they would be easy to pose.
