What's up with that?

The coolest pack in would've been his Throne Room Chair!!!!

His outfit would be hard to translate properly to cloth, and the lack of the chair is no biggie. He's only sitting in it a few minutes during the movie, and there is always a chance of a cinema scene of him with Sly Moore and Dar Wac in the future. :)

Granted, the figure does look very... Lonely?

He should come with a blaster pistol and blaster rifle just like all those figures from early POTF2 days. Just for good measure.

Yeah, at least the Ep1 Palpy came with a Hover Cam.

This figure is a great argument for bringing back the background cards. Maybe the package should have said "Supreme Chancellor Palpatine with Invisible Aura of Evil!":D:D

Orn Free Taa is lacking in accessories as well.

I though a Senate Cam Droid was packed in with Orn Free Taa? :) Not to mention hasbro stated in the past they are trying to be more accurate with pack-ins as well. Maybe they could have packed in one of Palpy's weird office statues in with him. :)

Now there's a good idea. :D

I can just see the back of the card since he doesn't have no Accessorys

"With arm raising action!"

Palpy with Coruscant office window with option to put a Coruscant sky backdrop into the window pane or leave it with the plastic in there that is supposed to be the "glass"

I got Orn Free Taa today thanks to CoolHanLuke and he does come with the camera you guys mentioned. It's on a little stand.

Why not pack in a Gummi Tyrannus with the chancellor?

*lol* I like the "Supreme Chancellor Palpatine w/Invisible Aura of Evil". Thought the cam droid with EP1 Palpatine was fairly lame, but it's odd that they couldn't come up with anything in the way of accessories... not even a really big gun? *shrugs* And it's too early in the prequils for POTF-style Palpatine w/walking stick he refuses to hold on to...

Why not pack in a Gummi Tyrannus with the chancellor?

That'd be giving away that Palpy is Sidious, as if we don't already know that though. ;)

DOH! I have an Orn Free Taa, and I knew that. I even opened it and had the camera on my desk when I posted that. Oh well.

It is odd, that he has no accessorys. Oh, well. They've been so generous with so many others, I'll cut them some slack. Yoda, OPD Anakin, C3-P0 have all had outstanding pack-ins IMOP. Then there's the Massiff which basically comes with a bonus figure . . .

Since that blasted Storm Trooper is winning the poll --- perhaps a youngish Imperial Dignitary could join Palpy in his plastic prison?

That's exactly what I was thinking! I think a few of those cool looking statues as accessories would've been great! Too bad it's too late for that.

He could have come with that little death star prototype Anakin was playing with:sur:

It's a pity he comes with no accessories, I'm going to get him anyway. I'd love if he came with the office statues though.

They could have thrown in his Senate Pod.

From the looks of it, his accessory is those GIANT HANDS.

Yeah, at least having part of his senate pod would've been quite nice!

They could have thrown in a cloak with hood so you could transform him instantly into sidious.

He comes with more AMBITION than any other action figure before him!

And that's hard to card!

Actually, if he came with a miniature Holo-Obi-Wan that would be cool and movie accurate, as Palpatine was monitoring how close Obi-Wan was getting to uncovering everything during his mission to Geonosis.

I don't see why they couldn't have packed that in. Would've symbolized how Palpatine is manipulating everything you see happen in all the prequels.

Maybe it should've come with a Jar-Jar shrine. ;)

Nah. I think the year after the Clone Wars began, the Senate revoked the Gungans' right to vote!
