View Full Version : Any Speculation on 400th figure?

I only asked because it should be here before we know it. Boba Fett was 300th now we're almost 50 figs into AOTC line. What would you like to see as the 400th?

Actually, I think we passed up the 400 mark a while ago. THere was a thread about this a few months back, I'll see if I can find it.

Well, I'm just talking about HASBRO's OFFICIAL 400th, like on the box like the 300th Boba Fett... I know the numbering is all messed up and "technically" we may have passed the 400 mark already...=P

That's the one, thanks JEDIpartnr.;)

Hasbro's numbering has always been off, even when just counting basic figures. So, I can't really tell what will be what. But they never did any type of special packaging for any of the other "-00th" figures, so who knows if they'll do it again.

I also agree that the 400th figure has already been released. There was a lot of POTJ figs released after 300th Boba Fett, plus now SAGA cards have boosted that well over the 400 mark.

Hasbro would have to release a great figure to beat Boba Fett.
No other character is more popular, and never will be.

Hopefully, Hasbro may release a figure similar to the NY Toy Fair Vader for the 500th release. Or maybe a nice gold plated figure.

Any suggestions ? ? ?

How about Anakin/Darth Vader figure similar to the C-3PO where you could attach the Vadar attire over the Anakin. Just a thought.

While the 300th Fett is a good figure, I disagree that he's the most popular. A lot of people down right loathe that useless waste of screen time.

I'd like a nice Vader, or Jedi Luke as a 500th Figure. I also loved the packaging of the 300th Fett, and wished they'd package more figures like that.

How about a 2 pack with R2-D2 and C3PO...haven't they always been sold in separate packages? It'd be nice to see them on the same card for once.

To the chagrin of Tycho, Jargo, JJB, Caesar, and many others I predict that the "400th" figure will be the Fan Club Favorite #4 - Concept Stormtrooper. It seems that it would come around at the right time if we're about at 350. Plus, Hasbro could package it in a box like the 300 BF with McQuarrie art in the background.

MMM. McQuarrie background art. :D

My bet for the 400th is a really cool version (finally) of the Emperor. :)

Honestly, we need a good Emperor! Though I admit I kinda like the figure of him with the little lightning bolts you can plug in his hands and light up when you squeeze his back. But still, we need a nice soft-goods version.

Unless they already have one, in which case feel free to smack me and tell me to shut up. ;)

I hope the concept stormie won't get 400th figure/special packaging cause (if it's gonna win the poll of course) I'll probably want a couple of them and don't keep them packaged so I don't want to spend extra money on the packaging

My bet for the 400th is that we've already passed it a ways back. Maybe we'll get a special edition 500th (by Hasbro's count) figure sometime soon.

Well after that there is about 45 figures for the rest of the year. If I remember correctly the 300th figure came out at the end of the year so if they were to release a 400th figure chances are it would come out at the end of this year.

Hasbro's numbering system is all screwed up, but if Hasbro has to choose, I bet it will be Ephant Mon. The actual number of the figure is irrelevent as Hasbro just picks one that seems to be cool and rewrites history accordingly. Just look at their choice for #100, Han Carbonite, unfortunately the vintage line ended at 96 figures.:stupid:

Where did that list come from? Do you have the whole list 1- current or the url where I can find it?

You can have it for 400, because we all know the big Five Double Donuts is gonna be Mick Larc-Clum: Naboo Aristocrat :D

Ooh, good choice. I think I'll go Sid from Toy Story on his big A and send him soaring with a good bottle rocket. Actually, it would probably have to be a commercial rocket to get his heavy load into orbit.

I really don't think Hasbro will make that big of a deal for the 400th figure or 500th or whatever. I think the 300th Boba was just a way to justify another Boba Fett.

Hehe, the third resculpt of Episode III Boba Fett will mark the 750th figure. :D (but it will really be #803)

Since when has Hasbro ever had to justify a re-sculpt, BigB? :D Actaully, in this case I liked the re-sculpt tons better then the previous version. Wish he would have been more poseable, but oh well. :)

E3 Boba will only be 13-14 years old, Caeser...so he still isn't going to look the same as OT Boba Fett yet. Hopefully we will see the starts of his uniforms finishing touches. Some padawan braids and maybe Mace's robes for his cape. :)
