I just want to know if this is true but i just heard that if Epidode 2 dosn't do so good then George Lucas is just going to release Episode 3 on video right away.

Let's just say that the odds of this are less-likely than trying to successfully navigate an asteroid field. ;)

Yeah, if it doesn't do so good.

Let's think about that one for a moment shall we?

"If Episode II doesn't make any money..."

Nope. Geez. Even I can't keep a straight face and type what I was going to type....

Just like GL saying that if Ep1 didn't do well in the theaters then there wouldn't be an Ep2. Not to worry, Ep2 will make plenty of money.

People will most likely flock to see E2 and those dissapointed in E1 will probably wait and then go see it after hearing reviews.

I forsee Lucas becoming wealthier than Bill Gates with this. :p Ok maybe not. :D

I'd actually be suprised if Ebert's dumb partner (forgot his name) gave it a thumbs down.

Richard Roeper.

Lucas can now afford to make Episode I at least two dozen times over without EVER turning a profit or even selling one ticket, there's little likelyhood he concerns himself with box-office numbers enough to spurn cinema altogether if it doesn't go his way on Ep 2.

Wouldn't it be grand if he didn't bother with all the CGi and special effects and all we got was actors in front of blue screens and orange tennis balls with people yelling the aliens' lines from off screen? Make it for $3.77...
