Anakin and Padme are in a meadow where you can see Shaaks.

Shaak-Ti is in the the Jedi Council


Luke and Han ride Taun Tauns

Taun We is a Kaminoan Cloner.

I just thought that was weird. Does any one know of any others?

It's funny that you should mention that. I noticed it too while reading the book while I was on the road for business.

Bail Antilles is mentioned in TPM, and Bail Organa is Leia's adopted father.....

Cliegg Holdfast is a podracer in TPM, Cliegg Lars is the patriarch of Owen......

and on the subject of the Antilles:

Bail Antilles, Captain Antilles, Wedge Antilles

I have one that is a bit off. In the Final Fantasy 7 video game there are a pair of friends that are named Wedge and Biggs. Ya think???

The Wedge/Biggs thing in the FF Games (They're in most of 'em)
is an homage to SW

They have used Wedge and Biggs in several of the FInal Fantasy games. I know in 2(IV) and 3(VI) they did as well. It was an homage to SW from the American programming team.
