I saw a good amount of figures with backgrounds yesterday. Are there any that are more sought after than the others? Or should I have bought all of them??

You shouldn't worry about the backgrounds. Just buy them and open them, problem solved.

I've seen several Ep II figs that come with backgrounds in earlier versions. IS there a complete list of the ones who have them verses the ones that never came that way? Also, are the figs witht he backgrounds worth more? Should I hunt for these?

The first 15 or 16 figures were the only ones with background cards. These are also available without BG cards.

As for value, not just yet. They are still mostly available, the only one's that are a bit more pricey at the moment are Shakk Ti & Luminara Unduli.

Shakk Ti is an alround limited availability figure at the moment, and Luminara Unduli had a word change on the card. But that one is more of a variation at the moment.

I guess you mean Shaak Ti w/ bg insert is limited availability? Cuz around here she's a major pegwarmer, second only to Anakin OPD and Captain Typho. I can't remember if the Shaak Tis I see all the time have or don't have the bg insert, as I don't look for those types of things....

Bummer...shoddy distribution I guess. Over here Shaak Ti is practically falling off the pegs, there are so many of her.

Um... They didn't make a Luminara w/ background. She was #25 or 26.

Word from my UK dealer is that Shaak Ti is not going to be made available over here - in other words its been withdrawn.

I can't imagine why Shaak Ti wouldn't be available to the UK, but she's dripping off the pegs here, so if any of you UK guys don't mind paying cost + shipping I'm sure some of the Americans on the forum could get you your Shaak Ti fix.

From what I've heard there both pretty much the same in value and rarity.

The first 16 figures were available with or without backgrounds. All the way up to Dexter Jettster.

In my experience the last 2 (Geo Warrior and Dexter) are the harder ones to find with backgrounds.

Followed by R2-D2, due, no doubt, to the false hype around the leg variations. Though I have seen all 3 variations in stores.

I think both versions (with background and without) are pretty plentiful, and neither version will be "rare".

It was most likely a (not so) clever ploy by Hasbro to boost sales of their initial push of the new line.:rolleyes:

Shakk Ti will be available to the UK. It was just a vicious rumour.

If you live in the UK, get the newly published Memorabilia Magazine. There is a section in there about it.

It will appear late summer. So we'll just have to wait.

I didn't mean that Luminara was on a background card. It was just a general quote about the figure. I didn't mean it to sound as if it was on a BG card.
