No, but i hope not, cause Zam is awsome.

the 12 inch zam prototype we saw is anything but awesome.:)

Yeah, that "elephantitis Zam" prototype was pretty horrifying.

Ya i saw it to , it was terrible, chris must be crazy, but maybe thats why there switching to pademe.

I think I could deal with a 12 inch Padme. However I am dissappointed in the way the Zam looked. I was really looking forward to that figure. Perhaps Hasbro will re-think this one and put more detail into it.

Padme's on the cargo bay at SW.com and Zam is not, so I believe derek's link may be correct.

I think the idea for Zam's character is cool, but she's really pretty lame overall in the movie. Maybe Hasbro realized this, and also realized how badly her 3 3/4" figure is clogging the pegs, and they canceled a 12" version, figuring it wouldn't sell?

Vote for a 12"-section!

I actually had a case of this 12" assortment on preorder from EE. I usually like to get 2 each of the 12"ers I am more partial to. I really dug Dooku and the SBD from the preview pics, so I figured as long as Zam was reasonable, I could live with 2 of her as well. However, once I got an eye-full of that monstrosity, I promptly cancelled the preorder. I'll roll the dice that I will be able to find a couple of Dookus and SBD's at retail.

Hasbrojedi.co.uk is run by Hasbro UK. Therefore the report would be true.

That prototype 12" Zam figure was about the worst ever figure pictured.

Maybe they thought that Zam would be harder to make, and as Padmè had already been made in the E1 line, the mould would come to good use again.

Oh, God, not another Barbie Padme with stupid gimmicks...please. Spare me.

looks like zam will come out just as we saw in the prototype photos. here is a back of box photo with jango, dooku, zam and super BD.

Well the Dooku still looks awesome. At least we still have that and Jango.

What in the world is up with those skinny arms on Zam? Yeesh.

06-14-2002, 02:48 AM
Good. I'm a bigger Padme fan that Zam. Not that I don't like Zam. As long as the Padme figure doesn't look like a stupid Barbie doll like the 'Fashion Queen Amidala' dolls did. THats why my KBs still have them! Haha!

Nice shot derek. I can't wait to get Dooku and SBD, but even though Zam's head appears to have shrunken to a nearly-reasonable size, that skinny figure looks like a dud (unless the actual figure is thicker than the prototype in that shot). I think Padme in her white outfit would have been the best way to go here, a real ACTION character who had lots of screen time instead of this 1-minute-wonder.

I actually liked the idea of the Zam figure, but when we got that first glimpse of it, man was I turned off. Even though she wasnt in the film long, I thought Zam was a pretty cool character. I am still going to cross my fingers and hope this figure looks better when I see it in person.
However the best figures in this new wave of 12 inchers is definately Dooku. And I also have to mention the ultimate Jango.

So here's a really stupid question- Before this, they weren't going to make a 12" inch Padme, but we were gonna get a 12" inch Zam?

Gotta love Hasbro.

Either one will go with my Jenna Jameson Collection Figure. That is all I really need to complete my Jango, Jenna, and another chick to make my Jango the coolest 12 inch fig ever.

How ironic! Jenna is 1/2 plastic and now they made her a figure of 100% plastic!!!
