Currently, I only have ten figures, but I pretty much like all of them very much. Still, if I had to pick out only five to keep, the choice would be fairly easy.
1) Jango Fett -- Kamino Escape (This guy just looks great and is loaded!)
2) Yoda (Totally amazing accessories.)
3) Royal Guard (The way he should been done long ago . . .)
4) Orm Free Taa (Spiffy. Very cool looking. And so obscure.)
5) C3-P0 (Say what you will about this guy, but he sure is fun to play with.)

Geonosis Rescue Mace

My personal favorite is probably Luminara Unduli, with honorable mentions to the Royal Guard, Nikto Jedi, Jango Kamino, and Dexter Jettster. But I have the feeling that Ephant Mon is going to blow darn near every other figure from '95 on away! Now all we need is a J'Quille!!!!!

Including what I do not have it is Ephant Mon. If oyu wnet ot C2 then you know what I'm talking about when I call this figure the best ever as far as paint and sculpt. It is ten times better than any figure. It totally blew me away when I saw it.
Orn Free Ta has the best sculp of a SAGA figure out even though it is pregnant.
My second favorite is the Bespin Luke followed by Jorg Sacul(hey I've always wanted a Luacas), adn Toy Fair Vader unopened. Despite what you may thnk of this figure I fell in love with its appearance the moment I saw it on the net.

O.K. stop talking about figures I don't have ( Jorge, Toy Fair Vader) your making me Jealous. Whatever way it's spelt.
05-26-2002, 07:09 AM
Based on the few I have, I'd say Luminara is my favourite so far. The next best is Kamino Jango.
05-26-2002, 12:16 PM
Don't have it and haven't seen it stores yet but Chewbacca looks like the best figure.
05-26-2002, 09:46 PM

DEXSTER JETTSTER!!! Man, I love this fig. The guy is so, so bad arse. The sculpting and paint app. on him is friggin' awesome. Besides, the dude's got four arms. The only other SW fig that has that, is that lame looking guy in that one Mos Eisly's Cantina Cinema Scene. Besides, that guy looks like he belongs on Star Trek. Dex's knife and cleaver are very cool also. The blast effect or whatever is lame, but majority of all the other ones on all the other figs in the line are lame. The saber dart is a bit oversized, but if it was any smaller you would loose it (I know I would). And his apron is made of some thin plastic, so it seems real (unlike that unmovable plastic used on most POTF figs). One of the coolest little touches on Dex are his tatoo's on his knuckles. I'm really considering maybe getting me some of those when I'm 18, that would be after the Indian stick figure drawing on my ribs. Yep, I'm dumb.

Dexter is really cool, in fact he was the only figure I bought when Wal-Mart was putting out the figures on 4/23. No cheesy gimmicks, no action features, no wierd poses; just a well sculpted highly detailed figure. :)
05-30-2002, 12:20 AM
Dex is a cool dude, but what about the baddest one of all.... Master Jedi Yoda??? Where's the love? :)
05-30-2002, 12:24 AM
I like Dexter... he's different.
05-30-2002, 01:16 AM
Yeah, Hasbro did good on this one. Dex jumps out at you from several shelves away. He's a very intresting character, though unfortunately a victum of watered-down surlyness for the PG-13 rating. I can picture him cussing in various alien laugages.
I haven't got one yet but I was thinking about it....
Oh! And we need a figure of Flo to go with him! Dex's Diner playset, anyone?
05-30-2002, 01:27 AM
I was looking forward to seeing Dex when I went to go see AOTC for the first time and I must admit that I was a little taken aback by his voice initially. I expected it to be a thickly-accented, booming deep voice. Upon second viewing I realized that the voice they gave him was perfect for his character. Like an old moutain-man, prospector during the Gold Rush. Does anyone know offhand who did the voice for Dex? And what other movies that guy has acted in or done voicework for?
Yoda is another candidate for coolest action figure and coolest character.
05-30-2002, 01:40 AM
Dex is the most detailed of the figures that are currently available, in my opinion...
05-30-2002, 02:38 AM
The Yoda fig is a great fig and the character himself is even cooler (without a doubt one of my top five SW characters of all time, even before AOTC). The thing about is fig is that the coloring is off (on his head), quite a bit. Also, his head sculpt is not a great resembalance of the AOTC Yoda. TPM Yoda was an excellent sculpt. Very, very realistic. Probably the best outta TPM. My nephew has the fig and I wanna jake it (he doesn't play with it, he just wants his "Obi-Wan with the beard"). I really like the little podium or what not, that comes with the AOTC Yoda. It's not in the movie, but it sure looks cool. And out of the Jedi figures force thingy, Yoda's has to be the best. The thing is though, figure-wise, Dex is putting one helluva smackdown on Yoda. Dex is still numero uno baby!
