It may be a variation, I have two Kit Fisto's, one with background and one without, and they both have red dots on the sabers. I don't know about the Plo Kloon though.

P.S. Kit with B/G is American Carded and the other is Canadian Carded if this helps.

Sounds like your basic lack of QC at Hasbro, not legitimate "variations".

Like its been said before, a variation is a legitimate change to a figure or packaging by Hasbro.

Paint errors or general missing parts are 'muck ups' and missed by the QC at Hasbro, so cannot be classed as variations.

i've never understood why people pay extra for mistakes. sorta like how i feel about collecting on card..but thats just me i guess

It seems that this whole line of figures are nothing but screw ups. It seems that every figures has about 5 errors/variations or what ever you want to call it. Like the padme' they make her with a mole and without, but I have 1 of her with the mole on the end of her nose---a screwed up variation..

Atty, on your Kit Fisto, if it's still packaged, then it probably DOES have the red dots, it's just probably that the saber is facing the other direction in the package. I've seen a LOT of this one.

Probably it was just a screw up that hasbro made.

Ya hasbro's just been getting lazy.
