Ok, we ALL have to admit that some of the accessories of the new Saga Figs are downright IDIOTIC!! The following is my list of Saga Figures with the WORST or DUMBEST accessories!!

5. Yoda ( levitation platform is goofy, and was never in the movie)
4. Every figure with stupid lightning bolts, lazer deflections, and lightsaber defelctions (why oh why does Jar Jar have lightning bolts on his staff? did someone in the Senate shoot force lightning at him when he was voting to create the Galactic Army?)
3. Dooku (cool figure, but why the extra lightsaber?)
2. Anakin Peasant (What is with the box and lightsaber? He didn't use either of them while he was in that outfit??!!)
1. Boba Fett ( ok, he never uses blasters, or a backpack in the movie! The helmet should come with Jango's severed head in it. That would be COOL!)

Thoughts? Ideas? Cash, Check, or Charge? What? What?

Toss em in a box? How about toss them in an incinerator? How about use them for my diamoma of the Trash Compactor from "A New Hope"? How about feeding them to my dog? He LOOOOVES to eat plastic pieces of garbage!

It's been discussed before, but I'll restate it again. The figures are being planned and produced while the movies are in production. Script changes and trimming the movie for time, happen during production, to late to change some things on the figures. :)

Yoda bounces off somthing similar to the platform that he comes packed with. Besides, it's added value for a small figure.

The blaster reflections from the lightsabers are fine, because they do deflect shots in the movie with their sabers. You can always, as was sugested before, take them off and put them in a box.

The original plan was for Dooku to fight Yoda with 2 lightsabers. Footage and pictures of Christopher Lee fighting with 2 sabers have been seen.

During the trip to Naboo, there was originally going to be a 3rd Assassination attempt on Padme. Hence the lightsaber and blaster. The box is just a nice pack-in for diorama builders.

Originally Boba Fett was supposed to come out of the Slave 1 with a pair of his Dad's spare blasters on Kamino and try to help his dad. And at the end of the movie, Boba was originally supposed to shoot Mace a dirty look, slap Jango's helmet on and rocket out of the arena.

By the way, the helmet was empty when Boba picked it up. If you look at a freeze frame from that scene you can see 2 shadows. One from his head, that probably got trampled into paste and the other his helmet's. :)

MTFBWY and HH!!

I think it's great that Hasbro is trying to add more value to some figures by packing in extra accessories. Nothing "idiotic" about it; unless you just feel like complaining about something, no matter how stupid.

I like the idea of extra accessories, but did anyone ever figure out the force powers. I know they make the figures look more interesting, and add play value, but don't correlate to anything in the movie. It bugs me.

More is better than less. If you don't like something just throw it out.

You could always buy an extra KE Jango, cut his head off, and use red paint to create a stump. Or whatever color is left over after cauterization. I don't mind pack ins- but the Kamino clone Dart could have been a little smaller. And I would have liked Zam to come with a vial holding the poisonous whatever you call ems.

I'm sure the cops would have something specific to say about that. ;)

The only stuff I really have beef with on the added things are the cheap saber slashing/gun-slinging gimmicks and the energy blast saber blades.

The saber reflects I like and I only really like to use the blast effects that came with Jango, they make for an interesting battle scene. Some of the force effects are poodoo and the electricity stuff along with the force effects I pretty much just keep in the packages.

Having some fun with Yoda's levitating platform though. :D

I'd have to vote Bespin Luke and Vader's saber hilts (under detailed), Typho's, Clone Troopers and Zam's blast effects for worst accessories.

What ever the hell that blast effect thing, that comes with Plo Koon, is idiotic. I use it to put candles out.

Pimple face Palpatine has my vote for the worst accessory

Dooku fought with 2 sabers in a cut scene, but wasn't it blue in the first place, not green? He could take Obi-Wan/Anakin's blue one, which is what he probably did, but the green one was completely butchered, and the figure shouldn't have it.

I thought he fought Anakin with two and then anakin cut the green saber in half?

my vote is for the embryoless clone container. And also the super battle droid's non-existant arm was kind of dumb, but hey, whatever

Yoda's platform is probably the coolest of the extra accessories. Put Yoda's blue force-effect on it and you have a prototype super-laser!:)

This is probably the most pointless complaint thread I have ever seen. The more plastic Hasbro can jam into that blister for $5.88 the better, IMO. Would you rather see tiny Yoda sitting in that giant blister all by himself? Probably not, since you would start one of your "famous rants" about that too, right?

I agree, the more accessories the better. Just because they pack them with the figure dosen't mean you need to use them when you take them out of the package. Or better yet use them on other figures such as giving Dooku's extra green saber to another Jedi and using the electro bolts from the Royal Guard on Dooku to simulate his Force lightning abilities.:stupid:
