View Full Version : Yellow Clone Trooper?

OK, we know we're getting a yellow Clone Trooper in a couple months, but does anyone know if this will be the Commander Trooper or the Pilot Trooper?

I'm personally keeping my fingers crossed for the Pilot.

According to Thrawn's new FAQ, it's the commander.

Hasbro themselves said it was the Pilot CloneTrooper at Celebration II, and that he would pack in with 1 of the side bubble turrets for the Republic Gunship. It was also confirmed on StarWars.Com's Cargo Bay. "CloneTrooper: Republic Gunship Pilot". Buy 2 pilots, and you have a complete Gunship. :)

Clone Troopers Present and Future:
The red Clone Trooper was originally supposed to be all white. The deco change was a little last-minute, and there will be several Clones in the future for all of us figure fans out there. The first new one is a yellow Clone Trooper Pilot. It comes with a Gun Pod that's actually missing from the upcoming Republic Gunship toy, and it snaps right on the finished toy. If you buy two pilots, you've got your vehicle fully armed and ready to fly. Next, there's a Deluxe Clone Trooper that will come with some sort of Swoop/Speeder Bike vehicle.

i like the pilot and the commander, both of which will be made eventually, but id like to have the pilot by the time i get the gunship

But the gun pods (Gunship ball turrets that swing out to the side) need crew and the gunners seen in AOTC are yellow armored as well. So this means we'll have to buy four yellow clones to get pilots and gunners to have a gunship ready for duty.

Are the yellow Clonetroopers that come with the gun pod pilots or gunners? The pilots have different helmets than the gunners, but have the same markings on their armor, so it makes me wonder what we're going to get.

With typical Hasbro logic, I'll believe it when I see it...

The turrets will be as big as the ones on the wings, WAY too small for a figure to fit into because if they made the turrets to scale they'd look weird on the gunship and if they had made the gunship to scale then it would've been well above $100.

how many diffrent colors of the clonetrooper are there? (i know red, yellow, blue, and green.) is this all?

Yep, those are the only colors, according to StarWars.com and that we've actually seen. But there are two versions of the yellow ones, Commanders and Pilots. The Pilots have a different helmet style, more like the AT-AT Driver helmets. That is the figure we are getting later this year. :)

Yup, the pilots have the Republic insignia on the sides of their helmets and don't have a fin. The commanders come without the insigs, but have the fins.
