I protest! This is clear discrimination against those of us with dial-up modems!

I can't download it but i assume this is the bit where Triumph visits the line up for the movie in NY. If so that was bloody hilarious.

I liked how they kept getting the guy who does Triumph in the picture. That guy has got to be one of the best comedians around. That Darth Vader costume look like the real thing.

I don't watch the show, so I hadn't seen that guy before. It was so good because he is so quick with the retorts (ie, "what are you, some kind of Korean under there?")

When he got the stormtrooper to remove his helmet, I think I woulda peed myself if the guy really WAS korean-looking! That segment was one of the funniest things I've ever seen!

...I thought it was a riot

just the fact that he states that he has been waiting years of the cereal is a frightening thing.

That is f'ing hilarious! For certain, he has his finger on the pulse of "fans."

I think you missed the point Jonna, the cereal is a metaphor for the movies. Every criticism he makes at the cereal is how he feels about the movie. It's sweet, light, fluffy but doesn't taste quite right. It's a pretty clever article.

My bad! I only looked at the first line and then stopped. Short attention span.

Edit : this article was written on The Onion.com. The Onion is a satirical site and everything on it is fictional. :)

He's 30 years old and doesn't have time to spend talking to fanboys on message boards - but he has time to critique a kid's meal/snack.

I think they weren't really going for a collector market on those marshmallows. What he'd expect, Real Scanned marshmallows?

I love The Onion. The usually come up with some great "mock" news stories. I read a story today on The Drudge Report, that said a reporter in China confused one of their latest calumns for a real story. It's on the main site now, the one about Congress threatening to move to another city of they don't receive a new building (like all sports teams do now).

Overall they are usually quite funny.

Yeah I heard about that too. It's funny how often they get quoted as real news. :)

LTB - Sorry, I should have linked to the main site instead of the article. The link is to a column at The Onion.com, which is a satirical site. All of the news and editorials on it are completely made up. It's just a really funny site to read.:)

If you look you can get a good shot of the guy who does Triumph and he looks just like the people he is heckling.

That was great......absolutely great. I will have to watch that again.
The only thing, stuff like that kinda makes me embarrassed to be a Star Wars fan, lol. I'd never dress up like that, or "act out" scenes from the movie (if you can call what they did acting out).
Oh...some of that was hard to watch, lol.

End...:crazed:

It's a good thing I keep making comments on the board to put it out in front for everyone to see. New and old members.
