So did anyone get the Sith lords two pack. I did way overpriced but they are two really great 12" figures. Post your thoughts about them!:Pirate:

The electronic Vader looks like he has lost a fist fight against Luke. And: I don't like the electronic gimmick. Therefore I bought the Sith Lords. But Sith Lord Vader has dirty ears. I'm not interested in pulling of his hand. Other differences I don't care about: the buttons on his belt are now blue, before they were green. His cape has a real chain now, his boots are polished (more glossy) and his breast armour now is striped with dark green color. I really don't need a second Vader, but this one is as beautiful as the electronic one.

The cut in half Maul should have come with the robotic spider legs accessoir, he wears in a hidden level of a videogame (Don't know the name of it).

The 12 " Sith Lords were peg-warmers in my area. I was lucky to find 6 of the 3.75 two packs at my Wal Mart! I bought 3, 1 for me and i each for two of my friends. Now I wish I would have bought them all, they would have been an excellent trading tool.

I see the 12" Sith Lords on clearance at just about every TRU I go to. I never did see the 3-3/4" figures, are they pretty nice? What do they include?

I had the 12 inch Electronic Vader and the 12 inch Maul, so that's why I never bought the 2 pack version although I thought it was pretty sharp looking.

I'm still looking for both sets (3 3'4" and 12"):(

Never saw the 3 3/4 version....:( But the 12" set rocks. The Maul is generic, but the Vader is sweet. A must have for Sith fans.

I hope they do a Vader/DooKu/Palpatine, and throw Maul in for fun as well, Darkside set in either the 3 3/4" or 12". Now that I'd have no problems paying for. ;)

I was able to find the 3 3/4 inch set. I was darn lucky to get it actually, because I have NEVER seen it since. Its a great set although the Maul and Vader figures are standard re-issues.

I never found the "Masters of the Dark Side" 3 1/2 2-Pack. I was very fortunatle to win one free from Brians Toys (thanks Brian's Toys!).

It's a very cool set. I wished these were more available in stores.

I haven't seen the 3.75" version here at all... I guess its already eons after its release now and my hope of seeing it fades to oblivion.

I've never seen either of them, other than in a Specialty (Scalper) shop. They looked cool tho.

The only 2 of the 3 3/4 two-packs I've seen were at a Walmart in 2000. Never seen them in stores since. And yes, I DID pick both up.

The 12" two-packs are down to $30 at the local TRU's. I picked mine up up when it was $40.....oh well :o)

Both of them totally rock. IF you can find the small one for a good price, by all means get it. And the 12" one SHOULD be an easy find.

I am indifferent. The maul wasn't that good. And I already have the electronic Vader, which OWNS! SO I didn't bother.

I really liked it they look good in battle positions.

Is the Vader in that set electronic?

JEDIpartner

No... both were just standard 12" figures. The only thing with the Vader is that he had some of his ROTJ "features" (i.e. removable hand).

Yes, the Electonic Vader was the PERFECT one!

I have yet to get this set. But They look great to me. I very much like the removeable hand on Vader and the "cleaved" lightsaber of Mauls. I also like the implied comparison of the two figures made by packaging them together.

I Like it alot, But I Still think we need a Vader/Luke Final Dual Set.

I bought that thing to go through several motions.

I display my 12" - sort of in scenes (though I don't make sets like I do for the 3 3/4")

Well, the Electronic 14" was so much my favorite 12", and still is I think, that I bought 3:

1 to fight Luke Bespin

1 to stand with the Emperor, Royal Guard and Tarkin

1 to lie fallen by his son's side with Death Star II Luke (that means you take off the vest) at his side, removing his helmet in what friends tell me is my most touching 12" display.

OK, all that was good, but can you believe I still wanted ANOTHER one?

I wanted Vader with 2 Snowtroopers and the ATAT Driver figure.

I held off, thinking, if only they make General Veers, I can use SOMEBODY else to make this group really look good. (I'd have gotten a 3rd Snowtrooper, but I'm still betting they do something with the Tri-pod eventually). So I waited. Never opened my ATAT Driver, or my snowtroopers.

Then this 2-pack came out. It was technically something different because I could remove Vader's hand. Oooo. It was enough! You can tell I wanted another Vader to free one up to join my snowtroopers.

What to do with Darth Maul then?

Idea: buy ANOTHER Obi-Wan Kenobi 12" - the best of the E1's anyway, and do the slaying scene. Not all my 12" Qui-Gon's needed their lightsabers showing under their cloaks, so one with the Return to Naboo Queen could make a loan, or at least the one I'm going to pose "swimming" could give up the blade and if you didn't look, you wouldn't see Obi-Wan's saber making a green blade... Not sure what I'm going to do, but I'll work it out. (My E1 stuff are back in their boxes until I get a bigger place).

So, next, what to do with Maul and getting the lightsaber through him? Fishing wire. It takes a lot of it, because he needs to be suspended on a high shelf (or you made a cat toy if you have pets) but on such a length of line that he is just barely above his lower legs and body. Just enough for the blade to go between his halves. Then you have to have enough wire on his arms and head so that he doesn't spin when the air conditioning's on. This isn't something you can do fast, or without trial and error, but I bet it's achieveable. I haven't done it. Just bought the stuff and plan to.

All because I like a 14" Vader with Removeable helmet! :)

The 12" Vader rocks, although he's simply a rehash of the previously issued version, so he's redundant there.

The 12" Maul is okay, but the "split in half" feature makes him stink for customizing. The head sculpt is okay.

Best Maul headsculpt was the Wal-Mart exclusive, with the Sith Speeder.

I agree on that statement about Maul with the Sith Speeder whole-heartedly!

That was a nice exclusive! And not terribly hard to find either.

I've never heard of it, but i need to look into it, cause it sounds kind of sweet.

Is this set available in stores now? Is it exclusive? I would love a 12" Vader.

I passed on it because I have both 12' Electronic Vader and 12' Darth Maul. SO there wasn't much of a point in me buying it.

I like the 12" Sith Lord 2-pack. I have the electronic Vader but I'm trying to trade/sell him. It would be nice to have a Sidious/Dooku (Tyranus) 12" 2-pk.

I enjoy collecting the 12" figures. They (usually) have great detail and look great in the Glass display case. The 12" Vader/Maul 2 pack is SWEET !! I also have the electronic DV as wel as the 12" Darth Maul -- but when Ray Park and David Prowse BOTH came to Dallas a month ago -- I could NOT pass up on the chance of having a piece in my collection with TWO Signatures on it. This is now one of my BEST pieces...

I always thought the 12" inch Sith Lords were badly done, so even on clearance I passed them up.

I'd have liked a really /nice/ Vader/Palpatine set instead.
