At the Battle of Hoth, Luke Skywalker fought bravely against the Empire in an effort to buy time for his fellow Rebels to make their escape. After his snowspeeder was shot down by an AT-AT Walker, he continued the fight on foot, taking down one of the metal behemoths with only his lightsaber, a grappling hook and a plasma grenade before making his own retreat.

C-3PO Actor, Anthony Daniels, Scheduled to Appear at Star Wars Celebration Europe this July in Essen, Germany
Anthony Daniels, the actor behind C-3PO, the golden protocol droid that was a central character in all six Star Wars movies, is scheduled to attend Star Wars Celebration Europe July 26-28 in Essen, Germany. The Force grows stronger this May, as the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort celebrates the opening of the NEW LEGO Star Wars Gallery in the LEGO Star Wars Miniland Model Display. Reports are coming out that Disney has shut down LucasArts this morning and laid off its 150 employees, and that the next big LucasArts game, Star Wars 1313, has been canceled - although it may have a future release as an outside licensee-developed game.
