Sorry, got distracted by the Snowtrooper in the background, still looks really sharp and I hope the production model looks that good.
Anyway, as for Vader, I'm excited by the idea here, but as an owner of Sideshow's ANH Vader there's a lot that seems similar which leaves me wondering if I'll bother with this. The helmet shape is similar (the ANH movie helmet is quite different from Sideshow's sculpt) and the chestbox and undersuit and codpiece and belt look the same (there I think are supposed to be some differences from ANH to ESB but they're pretty minor IIRC). Most importantly for me though, the height still looks way too tall just as the ANH figure did, Vader's eyeline should be just to the top of the Snowtrooper's helmet - but maybe this is a composite image done wrong, one can hope. I doubt I'll buy this Vader since I can recreate almost everything except the look of the gloves with the ANH Vader (basically just move the inner robe under the shoulder armor) but I am excited to see more pictures of this piece and its "deluxe" removable helmet with its separate stand, and maybe I can convince myself to buy it.
But the text and descriptions were only okay, not as strong as the first volume (I didn't learn as much as in the previous). I wonder how the third ROJ
It must be because there are no comic book films out this year to tie into.
I'm considering attending although I'd like to make it into a Disney World visit as well which would up the expenses greatly.
That carbon fiber bucket is an interesting idea (though don't wear it, that stuff can be cancerous), but that join in the back is hideous. I can forgive
I might have tossed him out the window if he did that to one of my props.
This year's FCBD offerings are abysmal, I'm avoiding altogether.
The Tower (1985) - a Canadian ultra-lazy tv movie, sci-fi in premise but not execution. This was gruelingly slow, boring, and badly produced.
I haven't seen it in years and came across it last night just before it aired while channel surfing. I hadn't put this together
I wonder if the Capitals' Mike Weber got credit for the assist on Hornqvist's final goal of the game....
And another one, this time Conan visits Lucasfilm compound - poor AT-AT LOL (though the base is from a MR AT-AT SE, the walker itself was replaced by
