• J.J. Abrams Shoots Down 'Star Wars' Rumors

"Star Wars: Episode VII" has snagged a writer in "Toy Story 3" and "Little Miss Sunshine" scribe Michael Arndt. But if he's the Wookiee co-pilot on the "Star Wars" sequel's Millennium Falcon, which director will we see join him behind the wheel?

Three names have emerged in the race to direct Disney's "Star Wars" sequel, including two names at the top of most fans' wish-lists "Star Trek" helmer J.J. Abrams and "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau as well as a lesser known director, "Safety Not Guaranteed" filmmaker Colin Trevorrow. All three of these directors have spoken out about their interest in going to that galaxy far, far away and at least in the case of Abrams, it doesn't look likely to happen.

Cut Abrams some slack, he's busy ruining Star Trek, doesn't have time to ruin Star Wars as well.

Jon Favreau could be a good choice - I love his work on the Iron Man movies, but Cowboys and Aliens was too serious though I have faith that Arndt will do well with the script. Trevorrow would be interesting as well, though I haven't seen Safety Not Guaranteed. I'm glad that Abrams, Tarantino, and Zack Snyder have all said no, since I don't want them anyway.

I've been wanting to see that Safety Not Guaranteed movie, it looks really different. That seems like the kind of director Lucas would pursue for something like this. Someone who does things a little bit differently. Remember David Lynch was once considered for Return of the Jedi, so maybe this is our guy?

Sad how the most believable one on there is CGI. Naw, I kid, Schumacher actually isn't a terrible director, he was just too ready to be a studio hack.

It's either going to be Trevorrow, Favreau, or Joe Johnston.

No Clone Wars forum? Who wishes more?

I still want more Clone Wars figures in the animated Style. I hope Hasbro will make these 3 3/4 inch figures.

      Stupid movie ideas

I propose Brittany, Miley, and Madonna are cast in a musical remake of The Golden Girls.

Still taking suggestions for a 4th cast member.

Star Trek Beyond: the one where Kirk wears a leg holster and Star Lord's costume

This movie is almost out and I cringe at thinking how bad it might be.

Here is to hoping it is at least better then how awful I'm expecting

I liked Open Range, though it is slow bike comparisons do something like Tombstone.

I want to see The Jungle Book. My mom read that to me

Poe is a third-tier pegwarmer at Target, but first or second at Walmarts around here, and I think also at TRU.

I was on the fence about that

      Poe pegwarms?

I'd actually buy a single Poe with the 2-pack head. But I'm indifferent to Nines and not a fan of a $40 price tag.

What's everyone having for lunch today?

Leftover rice (with a little Lawry's salt for flavor), water, rest of a hot fudge sundae left in the freezer from Sunday.

I've only ever bought one (ANH Han) and found it to be decent (4 of 5 scale). Of those I have not seen (or were too marked-up at secondary stores) but
