      This year has already seen the launch of one 'next gen' handheld console, the impressive and equally surprising Project SHIELD from Nvidia.





      But with the Xbox 360 and PS3 at the limit of their powers, it seems more and more likely that we’ll see two new consoles by the close of 2013.

        If these are cutscenes then these could easily be current-gen. If they're gameplay, that'd be impressive and current-gen consoles won't be doing something like this... but they could, the PS3 could anyway with the Cell processor but only Sony's studios know how to get that much life out of it, no 3rd party studio has been able to use it this way.
