• Kotobukiya Star Wars Jango Fett Attack of the Clones ARTFX+ Statue

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The incredible Star Wars ARTFX+ lineup has already featured some of the most iconic heroes and villains from the Star Wars films, and now it returns to one of the prequels for an intergalactic superstar bounty hunter, JANGO FETT from Episode II: Attack of the Clones! The armored Mandalorian had a distinguished career and he even became the genetic blueprint for the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic (not to mention his clone “son” Boba).

A fierce and determined warrior, Jango Fett always wears his full suit of Mandalorian battle armor and wields his signature dual blaster pistols. The silver armor plating over a full-length blue bodysuit is clean and well-polished, a marked departure from the more ragged look of his son. Jango’s armor even has all of the little details right out of the film from the belt of pouches to the wrist-mounted weapons, and of course one of the coolest helmet designs of all time! You can even display the bounty hunter from two different scenes in the film with interchangeable screen accurate backpacks from his battles on Kamino and Geonosis. Finally, interchangeable arms let you pose Fett in a classic “draw” stance or aiming his blaster pistol, while magnets in his feet give him extra stability on his included display base.

ARTFX+ Statues are fun-to-assemble pre-painted snap-fit kits that can be easily put together in seconds without glue or modeling skill. Jango Fett stands over 7 inches tall (1/10th scale) and looks great displayed alongside other Star Wars statues like the Clone Troopers and of course Boba Fett!

This looks like a nice piece. After getting the Sotrmtroopers and then R2 and 3PO, there's no question that ArtFX+ is coming into its own. That said, $55 for a single figure in this line is hard to get behind, so it takes away some of the wonder and puts a tighter focus onto the need to really shine - hopefully when I see it at Comic-Con, it'll live up to the promise.

I feel this figure is stagnant. He should have a more dynamic pose. I think Kotobukiya does some great sculpts at such an affordable offering compared to other statues but a lot of the pieces lack character. I'm going to have to pass on this one and hope Hasbro comes out with a well done Jango for the 6" line.

On another note I have the New 52 Flash pre-ordered and my daughter's Boushijo Jaina shipped today from BBTS finally. She'll be so happy. She's waited a long time for this and looking forward to the new Sword of the Jedi trilogy of books.

I actually like the straight posture on this figure, there's a lot of Jango merch where he's shooting flames or blasters, yet not enough of him being a badass the way this is. There's a subtlety to this pose, a quiet readiness for action that starts with the legs, goes through the first arm pose, and into the tilt of the head, which suggests he's intimidating without even drawing his weapons.

That didn't really bother me because I was hoping they would take this opportunity to redesign the Klingons. I was so sick of their look from TNG/Voyager/DS9/film

Hell, I'm a Wii fan, and I think the Wii U is the dumbest thing I've ever seen and lament that it essentially means the death of future Wii games.

Everything Michael Bay is a part of is terrible and everything Abrams does with a franchise is terrible.

While this isn't EA's official stance (as a company) this story over at IGN kind of says how the guys working at EA feel about the Wii U.
