I really don't know what to make of this one. These are the figures they have in the stores that are nothing, just hollow plastic, I can't really figure out why they exist - I guess for the slingshot games, otherwise why boring, lightweight, hollow figures? I like the game, but I just don't see the appeal of these in general or of this exclusive in particular. This seems like the kind of SDCC exclusive you buy for a favorite aunt or something.

Is this the only SW Hasbro exclusive? Because I don't see it selling.

Oh, there's Boba Black, too. He'll sell, but, altogether, it's underwhelming, even after a year of "all the figures you can find in stores, plus a Jar Jar in Carbonite."

I don't know if these are the only 2 SW Hasbro exclusives from SDCC. Boba Fett isn't even truly exclusive, they're also bringing him to Celebration Europe II. Part of me says this is it, but I can't picture these 2 being everything.

The fact that they're bringing Boba to CEII and yet claimed it was too difficult to set up and bring Hasbro Toy Shop to CVI, thus causing no exclusive there at all, is a little annoying.

The birds and pigs themselves don't look like anything special, but this seems like yet another of Hasbro's multi-item exclusives focused mainly on the packaging. It seems like kids like the whole Angry Birds crossover more than collectors do, but the packaging is clearly aimed at longtime fans, so I'm not sure who the target audience is here. I do like the packaging and the redesign of the cards, and this is one of the few Angry Birds items I'd be tempted to pick up if it were available via regular retail, but as it is I'll pass.

HasbroToyShop is a semi-independent business, so if they don't feel like they can make profit they will apparently protect themselves rather than serve the group. Either Hasbro has addressed that issue since CVI, or CEII looks to be a more lucrative venture, or possibly Hasbro is selling them through a 3rd party vendor there.

As for the AB product, it's cheap enough that it'll sell at SDCC, I'm sure. But it'll probably last through Sunday and have left-over that will go to HTS' website.
