I'm glad it is a realistic Bly figure. I'm not collecting Clone Wars SideShow figures (yet anyway). If they make Ahsoka, Cad Bane, and Hondo Ohnaka, it might tempt me to get some (like a previously released Anakin and a CW Obi-Wan, which I'm sure they'll make), if not also a CW Aurra Sing, young Boba, Mace Windu, and Bossk. It's very limited what I might buy from CW Animated in SideShow offerings.
But a realistic Bly IS on my list of some "100 - thereabouts" 12" figures that I wished SideShow (or Hot Toys) would make. But tell me something: why haven't they shipped Commander Cody by now? I was waiting for him for a long time. Bly will go with the Aayla Secura SSC figure I bought a few years ago.
If Bly includes both the phase 1 and phase 2 helmets, I may be interested in preordering him, even though I'm not a massive fan of the character specifically. I didn't get any of the SSC clones so far, each has been tempting yet something has held me back, but this one seems to cover a lot of ground, almost everything I'd want except Cody's jetpack.
As for where Cody is, he's now scheduled to ship in April. I don't know what the delay has been there, I mean, Rex came and went in the time we've been waiting on Cody.
This feels like the longest time Sideshow has done between releases. Because of the length, I was hoping they might tackle one of the following: R2-D2, C-3P0, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Queen Amidala, Tarkin..... Somebody besides another clone. And after weeks and months of prep time, they give us.....another clone. Don't get me wrong, he looks great, possibly they best they have done. But give me a break sideshow. Tackle some main characters. please?
BTW, am I the only one that can't read other comments on these type of pages?
I agree, they're relying too heavily on this prequel clone armor and body, even if they are improving the body and undersuit with each figure. No major characters anymore is a bummer, hopefully they'll have one of those you listed soon (although I'm not really sure about any Amidalas, they'll be expensive and girlie).
As for the news comments, it's a problem with IE7's web page rendering engine. If you are using IE7, you're out of luck. If you're using IE8, then you're running it in "compatibility mode", there's a little blue button next to the URL bar with a picture of a broken page, that will turn it off.
He looks good. I'm liking that despite the fact these are clones, each head portrait has had little differences that keep them individual...Bly's slight smirk, the touch of grey in his hair and the yellow face tats are pretty cool.
I was expecting Gree next with the little quip SS had in a recent Q&A about being "aGREEable", but hopefully he'll be soon. In the meantime, Bly looks pretty good.
I've also been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Commander Cody, but I'm also happy to see the delay...lets me enjoy the other recently released figures I've gotten.
Indeed. Yo Joe!
A long but very fun day: headed to the local library for their 9th annual Star Wars Day(s) celebration, where I was a volunteer and fan. Walked around

Another of those funny-and-serious mixes. Funny: Fisher (DOCTOR Fisher) back, Brennan's illness. Serious: presidential threats perhaps from the inside.
I heard that a few times this weekend.
Right now: one of those songs I sometimes can't make it through without my eyes getting stuff in them,
