• Petco's Star Wars Pet Fans Collection

      Return of the Jedi's baby Ewoks are about to have some major competition in the cute department: Petco and Lucasfilm are excited to announce the Star Wars Pet Fans Collection, a new line of collars, leads, apparel, and toys for dogs and cats, inspired by the iconic characters of Star Wars. The product series, co-designed by Petco and Lucasfilm, launches September 1 in all Petco and Unleashed by Petco stores, and online at petco.com.

        I shot these at Comic-Con, they're in the event gallery, but I didn't find them terribly out of sorts with the other merch for the brand. These felt like a natural extension of the pet costume industry, and the toys and whatnot are no worse than any other licensed idea.

        My sister and I are actually looking forward to getting at least some of these items for her puppy, Gus. Some of the jackets and things are a little much, but the collars and chew toys are fun.
