• New Star Wars Bluetooth Headsets from Earloomz

Earloomz LLC. -- the leader in Bluetooth headsets where art, fashion and technology meet -- announced that it has launched a new collection of Star Wars-inspired Bluetooth headsets under license from Lucasfilm Ltd.

The new Earloomz Star Wars collection includes four distinct headsets -- featuring Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and The Empire Strikes Back's climactic duel. Future styles -- including Yoda, R2-D2, C-3PO, Princess Leia, Darth Maul, Chewbacca the Wookiee, Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi and more -- are planned for release later in 2011.

"Earloomz technology and creative applications allows us to experience Star Wars in an all-new way," says Mike Sherman, president of Earloomz. "We are thrilled that we are able to put the Empire into the hand, or ears, of Bluetooth users and look forward to growing the collection to include characters from the entire Star Wars Saga."

Earloomz style and technology sets it apart from any other wireless device on the market. The unique patented design provides an earpiece that operates without bulky buttons or additional external pieces. This allows for easy accessibility and greater comfort, as well as a lighter weight in the ear. But, Earloomz Bluetooth headsets are not only ideal for phone conversations in the car, they are also designed and optimized for multi-player platform and voice command video game use. With Earloomz Star Wars Bluetooth headsets, gamers can stay connected and communicate with other players fighting for the Old Republic or battling in the Clone Wars.
The Earloomz GL500 Glamorous Life is now available through Earloomz.com and features Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR technology, noise cancellation, Mic noise reduction, lower power consumption, voice prompt, support multiple devices, and 16-bit resolution audio which can greatly enhance audio quality ($69.99 MSRP).

So cool! But the price seems steep, I'd have to see some really positive reviews (or better yet, sample it on my own phone and PS3) before I could plunk down that much coin for a decorated earpiece I can't see while using.

It was only $.06 cheaper down than street than at mile-away Costco, so I settled for $2.51 a gallon.
