As the interview was for a Czech publication, the focus of the interview is on shooting the new series in the country. McCallum makes a point of saying the Czech Republic is definitely in the running for the shooting location for the Star Wars TV series, which may come as a surprise to some Star Wars fans under the impression that Australia had already been locked in for shooting the series. McCallum points out that part of the Young Indy series was shot there, as was Lucasfilm's upcoming movie, Red Tails.
McCallum's caution also spreads to the 3D release of Episode I coming up next year, saying that it's an experiment converting a Star Wars movie to 3D, and if it doesn't work, then The Phantom Menace will be the only one to get the 3D release. Certainly a reasonable position to take, although he doesn't elaborate on what qualifies the 3D release as working or not - whether that would be the quality of the conversion in Lucas' eye, or merely sheer box office take.
