$430 is a touch out of my price range for a book.

I took a quick peek at it during SDCC, and as nice as it was, I couldn't see where my money goes in buying it, especially with so many of these high-end SW books coming down the pike the last few years. And when you're talking about a $500 book, one has to wonder why the limited edition size is 5,000. That said, if you are one of those obsessive high-end fans, it'll probably live up to your standards, it's a big book.

What a deal! I plan to buy one to open, one to keep on the card, and 14 to sell online. Wait, what? Huh. Really? Hmm...

Maybe when we meet up, we can discuss attending WonderCon together. I'm very curious to find out what it looks like at the LA Convention Center.

Steve Blum was definitely playing more notes and moods this time. I thought he did a great job this week.

JT - I noticed the exact same thing...sort of a disappointment, but I suppose it's a trade-off for the really good detailing on the rest of the ship.

Damn, for some reason I missed the "February" before and thought you were talking about sometime this spring.
