Want to Dine with George Lucas?

If you're upset with George Lucas over his controversial audio tweaks in this month's Blu-ray release of the complete "Star Wars" saga, you may get the chance to talk it over with him at dinner - if you save your pennies.




In celebration of all six "Star Wars" episodes being available for the first time on Blu-ray - along with a whopping 40 hours of extra content - Lucasfilm has launched an initiative to benefit Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C).

Through Friday September 23, you can bid on one-of-a-kind "Star Wars"-related goods on eBay - including dinner with Lucas. (Francis Ford Coppola, John Lasseter, Chris Columbus and Phillip Kaufman will be there, too!) Other items for bid include a "Star Wars" edition 2012 Volkswagen Passat and over 100 collectibles.

The current bid for dinner with Lucas at the time of this post was $8,550...so like we said, save up if you're interested.

The Stand Up To Cancer campaign also features celebrity ambassadors who "Use the Force for Good" to recreate classic "Star Wars" scenes. Aziz Ansari, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg, Emma Stone, "Star Wars" alum Samuel L. Jackson and others appear in the all-star video tribute:
