Star Wars Themed Burgers from French Fast Food Chain

I hope the Vador Burger is 100% black angus beef!

Ya know, followers of the Dark Side are smarter because if the Yoda Jedi Burger has green cheese, it's probably stagnant, rotten.

If you get a burger like that, you should request a New Order!

I saw the ad for this a few days ago, and while the black bun of the Vader burger is fascinating, those weird white pellets on the Jedi burger are downright bizarre and have kept me wondering what they could be.

The stuff on the Jedi burger looks a little bit like cottage cheese (which could be quite good on a burger), but seems too big.

The red and black buns remind me of taco shells that Taco Bell has had (red for the volcano taco, black for some kind of pepperjack thing). Weird colors aside, they look pretty good.

I could be mistaken, but I think the "white pellets" you guys a referring to as marshmallows and cottage cheese on the Yoda/Jedi burger are in actuality cut up parsnip sticks/cubes.

That is the closest thing yet to being likely I've seen, the shape is sharper than marshmallows (yuck) and cottage cheese could recreate. But would anybody actually put parsnips in tiny angled pellets on food, is that a thing that would ever happen? Seems unpleasant on a burger, they still want to do business after this promotion is done, after all.

I looked into it more, the Christian Science Monitor claims it's diced mozzarella. They are probably right, it does have a cheese-like shape to the sides and edges, angular and more broken than you'd see from sliced parsnips or anything that hard. But mozzarella isn't generally a hard enough cheese to hold that shape, it's too big to be a "crumble", and why exactly would this be a Jedi theme, because it's the "light side"?

Well, if you notice on the Darth Maul and Darth Vader burgers, there is a layer of lettuce and/or tomato; yet the Yoda burger seems to lack anything that could be called a "veggie layer" other than possibly the mysterious pellets. Parsnips are also sometimes used as a substitution for potatoes for chips/fries as they have a somewhat buttery sweet flavor to them. So it could be like eating a hamburger topped with french fries. There are also a few hamburger/parsnip recipes floating around the internet (though I think the parsnips are mixed into the meat before cooking in those recipes). Just seemed to make more sense in my mind than marshmallows.

I did notice that they were lacking salad stuff, but the only parsnip hamburger recipes I found were using parsnips as part of a cooked amalgamation to REPLACE the beef, not top it. Because uncooked parsnips are very hard, it'd be like eating a mouthful of gravel, and cooked parsnips at this size would break down a little and become porous.

There was no doubt in my mind that it wasn't marshmallows though, that you are dead-on about.

Anyway, it's definitely cheese when you look at the larger photo of it. So Yoda doesn't eat vegetables, seems unlikely.

It is France. They eat some stuff that most American palates would consider "weird."

I'm referring to mouth-feel though, it wouldn't feel good to eat jagged little hard things on a burger.
