AWESOME! This is a really good ad, a nice follow up to last years SW ad.
I love this so much.
Then why don't you marry it?
I bought a full size Wilfred The Dog suit and tried to be cast for this commercial but they said I looked too human.
This played on tv last night, and I of course took note. But while last year's ad didn't really make sense to me from an advertising perspective, just playing off the Star Wars brand's popularity without showing anything unique or even remotely special about their product, this one doesn't even have a car in it. It is literally just "look how clever we are to use a license this way", it's a mildly amusing ad for a white room... or is it for dog food, or dog costumes, or the new Star Wars 3D release? It is just trading on Star Wars iconography in a new, attention-getting manner to get you to notice the VW logo at the end.
And the sad part is that they're probably "launching" the new Beetle which is around here already and just awful-looking, like they wanted to look more like the Mini and just squashed its lines to death. Or maybe it's for the new Passat, though that launched last year and was merely "cheap to be cheaper" while lessening the quality of the car itself.
As for the characters, most seemed clear, the dog wearing Chewbacca's bandolier is really odd though, it's not a particularly big dog, and it's not the kind of dog that inspired Lucas (Indiana, his Alaskan Malamute).
After seeing a few alternate pics out there of loose Mara Jades, I ended up getting an order in on the second batch Amazon got from Hasbro, and that second
Got the TIE Interceptor on Amazon Lightning Deal for $30. This is really standard stuff, no surprises at all. One wing fits nicely, the other sags a little.
For once, I'm satisfied with which team won AR. Jason and Amy ran a good race. The ER docs just fell part during the last two legs, and I noticed Travis

Glad you got to see your family for the holiday.
It was a beast of a Thanksgiving, "only" 13 this year but I had to pitch in way
Possibly, but I think that issue delves as far as any IDW story has in regards to Soundwaves back story.
I knew Michigan St. had a legit D; it was their O that surprised me. Buckeyes came out flat (and kept the opening drive alive with some uncharacteristic
One of Pat Benatar's songs where she shows off her range as a singer: "Le Bel Age." And it looks like my older French name!
I read Robots in Disguise Vol. 5 on Friday.
Hard as it is to believe, both ongoing TF titles just keep getting better and better. If they
An Ollie's opened in the next town over a couple of years back. I've been there twice and based on this report I think need to go back.
