Attachment 24531This just in from Hasbro's Star Wars Toy Fair presentation...

      - The Vintage Collection will run through 2012.

      - Big Republic Attack Ship confirmed, to be released in August. Shuttle converts to a playset, has an "interactive mode."

      - There will be 35 Vintage figures in 2011.

      - Vintage will include Expanded Universe, and Deleted Scenes from the upcoming Blu-Ray set.

      - Fi-Ek Sirch, the Nikto Jedi, is a confirmed Vintage figure.

      - Bom Vimdin, Captain Fordo, Logray, Kithaba the skiff guard.

      - Nom Anor, Bastilla Shan from the EU.

      - Ponda Baba will have 2 sets of hands (the flippers and the regular hands) plus a removable arm.

      - 12 figures will come on chase packaging for "Revenge of the Jedi" in August, and they will be "easy to get." If you buy all 12 at San Diego Comic-Con, you get a special Death Star clamshell package and a Salacious Crumb and Mouse Droid on their own mini Vintage cards.

      - The Fall 2011 figure mail-in will be Boba Fett in prototype armor.

      - Blu-Ray Commemorative Packs that form a collage.

      - This year will see the final wave of Galactic Heroes, after that Hasbro will be switching to a preschool version of the Jedi Force figures.

      - Exclusives include Disney Parks Star Tours sets.

      - Kmart will get an exclusive Captain Lock figure.

      - Target will get Vintage 3-packs.

      - Force FX Kit Fisto lightsaber is coming.

And that's it for the details. We should have the slideshow images later today, so check back for them.

JT, having the SW logo on one line is how they do it on the ROTJ cards. But I agree that the EU design is pretty fugly.

Slicker, the vintage lines from 2004, 2006, and 2007 aren't the same as the current one. Those were limited, but these are the new basic line. It's been that way for over six months so I don't know why it's a surprise. There have been 43 figures released on the vintage card in 2010 and 2011 so far.

They look the same to me, JJL. They're on the same style card, marketed as Vintage, and look exactly the same.

It does come as a surprise since I don't even bother with SW anymore. It's really a shame that I don't since I've got well over $10,000 invested in it. I just can't keep up with all of this garbage anymore.

Oh, you're right. How did I not notice that? But yeah, the EU text really doesn't look right.

Nothing. I ate no solid food for lunch, just sipping on water. Too absorbed in my tasks. To paraphrase "The Body" in Predator: I ain't got time

They don't have a set schedule like the NBA. If all series ends early, they all start earlier.
