Collectors Hunt for New Treasures at Celebration VI

Gus Lopez and his team are planning a long list of reasons for collectors to take in every moment they can of the Star Wars Celebration VI collecting program. Similar to past Celebrations, the collecting panels and events will have something for collectors spanning all levels and interests. Of special note will be the unique and highly-prized items, created just for Celebration, that the group hands out at their panel presentations. From special medallions to Star Wars mini-cereal boxes, the group has created new items for each convention, and what they have in store for this year promises to be even more exciting than before.

"With twenty talks and panels planned across the four days of Celebration VI, the Collecting Track is a unique opportunity to learn about many aspects of Star Wars collecting, meet other collectors, and see some amazing things," writes Gus Lopez, who spearheads the collecting events. "In addition to learning a lot about the hobby, the collecting panels are a great opportunity for networking with others sharing the same passion (or obsession)."


The Star Wars Collecting Track at Celebration is presented by collectors, for collectors. All of the panelists, speakers, and presenters are fans from the Star Wars community. Lopez and his team are expanding the collecting program to include new activities such as a collectors' swap meet, author signings, scheduled podcasts, smaller interactive presentations, awards, displays, and more.
