The Disney Parks Blog updated with new photos and information. There will be 71 different parts (!!!), and not all of the hats are currently available. Individual droids are $11.95, while two are available for $18.95; I was expecting these to be around $10 each given the good ol' Disney markup, so I'll be getting two at a time (over the course of many, many purchases ). They're also only available at Disney World, so no love for Disneyland yet, unless it proves popular (and I'm sure it will). There's some packaging available and customizable nameplate stickers, but I'm not sure if that costs extra.

I'm really curious as to how the 71 different parts work out - if they count the third legs and hats as separate pieces, or what. I'm definitely gonna be spending a lot of time and money at that little workbench.

I finally made it to Orlando and scored five of the droids. Yeah, I'm slow. I would have gotten more but time and children wanting to go elsewhere caused me to stop at five. The fact that children also get bored very quickly also caused me to miss something that I wouldn't have normally missed. The last one that I built was an R9 using the white/green body and legs and the green dome. When I got home I realized that I grabbed two of the left leg instead of getting a right leg. Is there anyone in the forums near one of the parks that can help me out?

Humid (don't know the percent, but easily over 40% from the 18% it had been) and hot (stretch of 100 or more over almost a week now). In the 5-day forecast:

Indeed. My dad had dementia, but he also had lung cancer. About a couple months after he started treatment for the cancer, his mind kind of gave out.
