• 35th Anniversary "Lost Line" Packaged Card Backs

More eBay auctions are showing up with a few goodies and this time it's the 35th Anniversary (also known as the "Lost Line" look). These have shown up at retail computers as "35th Anniversary" and it's in the card back description so I am going with that series name. Is it the official name? I'll find out at SDCC next week.

I don't see the point of the Vintage line capitalizing on nostalgia for never-produced card designs.

And they're ugly. Yeah, I'll say it. Hideous. There's a reason they weren't used, and they shouldn't be used now.

They're dynamic, but not really inspiring because the character is such a small part of the graphics. They remind me of the '90s toy packaging.

It's called "retro future past;" all the rage. I'd buy one figure, just to have one card. But completist? Nah.

I think it'll be a non-issue for most folks because, like the "current" waves of the Vintage Collection, they'll never be seen at retail anywhere but the big metro stores. We haven't seen any new figures up this way since the Episode One wave clogged the pegs...don't expect this line to be any different.

Thanks. I already have a regular black TIE Pilot lid, but wanted one with the different paint apps. Dan was kind enough to make it for me. No other

Looks great! The painted TIE helmets really stand out. I think they look bad *** without the paint job, but it looks even more so with it. Do you have

      What have you watched recently?

I remember seeing the soundtrack at Target with exclusive tracks. Not sure if they were actually in the movie or not.

What's everyone having for lunch today?

Popcorn and a Sprite; and since I paid an expensive price to enjoy them at the movies, it's got to be great. Gatsby-great!

Just back from The Great Gatsby, one of the best book-to-film version movies I have seen in some time. Am looking for the soundtrack, too.

That didn't really bother me because I was hoping they would take this opportunity to redesign the Klingons. I was so sick of their look from TNG/Voyager/DS9/film

Hell, I'm a Wii fan, and I think the Wii U is the dumbest thing I've ever seen and lament that it essentially means the death of future Wii games.

Everything Michael Bay is a part of is terrible and everything Abrams does with a franchise is terrible.
