To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Star Wars™ franchise in 2007, LEGO Direct to Consumer unveiled an exclusive 5,000+ piece LEGO Star Wars™ Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon™ – the largest LEGO set ever made available to the public that recreates the most iconic model in the Star Wars universe – at a VIP bash held for collector media Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Westin Times Square in New York.

Priced at $499.99, the set will be available in October, however, LEGOshop.com is accepting pre-orders starting February 10, 2007 at 8:00pm EST. Free shipping is available on all orders placed by March 31. All orders will begin shipping on October 1, 2007.

Measuring 33.1 inches long x 22.2 inches wide x 8.3 inches high, the Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon is built in LEGO minifigure scale and features authentic functionality, like a retractable boarding ramp, removable cockpit top providing access to minifigures, rotating guns in the top and bottom turrets, and rotating and elevating radar disc. The set includes a gallery of iconic Star Wars minifigures including: Han Solo™, Chewbacca™, Obi-Wan Kenobi™, Luke Skywalker™, and Princess Leia™ Organa.
