16bit.com: You guys seem to have a lot of easter eggs lately-- are these hints at toys to come? Attack Cycle Grievous has a lightsaber similar to Sha'a Gi's, while Seripas comes with what appears to be Rumi Paramita's sniper rifle. Are there any others we're missing out on?
Hasbro: We all certainly love to drop the Easter Eggs in when we can. Another fun one coming up is that the Clone Wars Chewbacca comes with a Trandoshan Shotgun. Things like that are one of the most fun things about our jobs. Whether it's something more obvious like Ponda Baba's flippers or something more subtle like a figure coming with an updated version of their Vintage or POTF accessory, we love doing our part!

Just had an unpleasant little chat with the manager of one of my local Toys R Us stores. I had intended to buy about $90 of stuff with the 30% off Star Wars sale, but they weren't honoring the ad. Collectors who preordered Sideshow's 12-inch Commander Bly Clone Trooper figure back in April are starting to receive their 15 day notice emails warning them about processing and shipping. SSC says that all info changes or cancellations need to come in by Wednesday, September 7th, as that's the date they'll be charging cards and getting the figure ready to ship.

Following the excitement of a thrilling Season Three finale that brought back one of the most beloved characters in the Star Wars universe, Cartoon Network today announced that Star Wars: The Clone Wars will premiere 22 all-new episodes for Season Four of the critically acclaimed CG-animated series from creator George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation. BanthaSkull.com: Now that you have updated molds of the Tantive rebel, Hoth rebel, and Endor rebel… is there any chance that you will roduce battle packs that contain 3-4 rebels with different heads and accessories for each, like you had produced several times for the GI Joe line awhile ago?

BanthaSkull.com: The return of unpunched cards is a curse and a blessing. The blessing is that nothing looks better than a nice unpunched vintage cardback. The curse is that getting to the retail supply before they get stocked on a peg is a nightmare. Have you considered working with the retail partners so that we can get some end cap shelf boxes for the Vintage Collection like we’ve seen recently with Legends and Clone Wars? In the rare cases when retail stores put the cards unpunched on the shelf, they sell in a heartbeat.

Rick McCallum, producer on the prequels and the Young Indiana Jones series, as well as Lucas' right hand man, has stated that the long-promised live-action Star Wars TV series is another 3 or 4 years away, or possibly longer, despite last dates for it shooting around the end of this year. Last Friday, June 3rd, was the Disneyland opening for the new Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attraction. Crowds were in out in full force to experience the update to the original Star Wars ride simulator. The Star Wars Celebration convention returns to Orlando, Florida in 2012, a mere 2 years (and 2 weeks) after the last one there, making it the first official Star Wars convention to repeat the venue of the previous. The announcement for Celebration VI made by the convention's website sets the sixth SW Celebration's date for August 23rd through the 26th, 2012, at the Orange County Convention Center.
