From the San Diego Comic-Con floor, it's the lowdown from Thursday's Sidehsow Collectibles panel.
The main focus of this year's Sideshow Collectibles panel was their new 12" G.I. Joe line. That line was brought in large part from their relationship with Hasbro on the Star Wars line.
The subject of how they choose which Star Wars character to do next came up, and they mentioned that they heard from a lot of confused fans when they'd do a line of main characters and then follow that up with a 2nd or 3rd tier character. A rundown of Sideshow Collectibles' booth and panel at 2007 Comic-Con in San Diego.
Sideshow's booth was nearly dead center of the main exhibit hall, and while not the most extravagant affair, the large cylindrical Sideshow curtain in the middle made it stand out from the booths around it. It didn't hurt that Sideshow nearly always had something cool going on, whether it be interviews with Stan Lee at the far end or the wandering photo ops with Darth Vader.
