Last Friday, June 3rd, was the Disneyland opening for the new Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attraction. Crowds were in out in full force to experience the update to the original Star Wars ride simulator. When I arrived before park opening, even the security bag checkpoint just off the trams was jammed with more people than I had ever seen. Inside the park itself was no different, with an impressive throng of people.

The other day while walking by Cody Hampton’s office, I saw something that made me return to my office and grab my camera. He wasn’t in his office at the time but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to take the picture shown above. Inside Disney's Star Tours, workers are prepping walls, high-definition screens and assorted droids for the attraction's grand reopening next Friday at Hollywood Studios.
Outside Star Tours, anticipation is building among Star Wars and Disney enthusiasts, so much so that a few fans wait at the attraction's entrance every day, in case there's an unannounced preview of the simulator thrill ride.

From the Disney Parks blog, the Star Tours II destinations list was revealed, and it includes Tatooine, Coruscant, Kashyyyk, Hoth, Naboo, and Geonosis, which as the picture teased, has the Death Star nearby.
