Transformers Volume 1: For All Mankind. The first six issues of the new TF ongoing, which is a reboot of a reboot of a reboot of G1.
This is a bad comic. I cannot put it any other way. It's not quite Rob Liefeld bad, but it's barely readable. It's like a couple of 12-year-olds took over what had been set up in the "-ation" series, but they weren't ordinary 12-year-olds... they were 12-year-olds who had to wear helmets because they can harm themselves and others.
Thank you, IDW Publishing, for thinking of my wallet in these trying economic times.

Last summer, as Blackest Night began, I read about 3-5 years worth of continuity. It felt good. Waiting month to month, conversely, can be frustrating. How did I do this as kid?
I'm really liking the Zatanna book as well. Can't go wrong with Paul Dini!

Also, I loved Dex starr's origin story in GL#55!
Ah, I remember the $30 a week habit (back when comics ran about $.75-$1 each), too. Good times. Back when the Punisher was everywhere (in honor of that, I won two of his early appearances online: Marvel Preview #2 and Marvel Super Action magazine, for under $15 total [they book for much more]).
