TDS had an amazing bit about the "War on Christmas," which I won't go into to keep it out of the Pit, but I had never considered one aspect: The Flintsones Christmas special occurred thousands of years before there was even a birth of Jesus!
Heh, yeah, that cracked me right up, dunno how that never occurred to me before.
Colbert this week was doing up The Hobbit's release because he's an uber-geek for Tolkien, had interviews with Ian "Gandalf the Grey" McKellen, Martin "Bilbo Baggins" Freeman, Andy "Gollum" Serkis, and Peter "the director" Jackson, as well as doing up his whole set in Hobbiton best.
And both shows are off until next year... that is, IF there is a next year!
Jon will take over for Jon for a few weeks this summer, so Jon can direct a movie.
I thought they both were 'H'-less.
Interesting that it's the British one who doesn't drop his 'H's.
