Parts for Custom Droids

I am just getting started in customizing. I wanted to make some of the misc. small droids like those on the Lars homstead, the Jawa Sandcrawler, and hangars. What are the best things to use?

Sometimes piecing some gadgets together works best. Most of the droids I built for this display in my bookcase

were just made out of various bits and pieces.

The R1 droid is a roll on cap, a small flashlight, a little sculpey and some bits of plastic.

Grab whatever pieces of junk you can get your hands on and just go wild!
