I've had this laying around my room for a while and finally got around to read it. But I was pretty dissapointed. Now I realize why only Kevin Anderson's Jedi Academy Series only really acknowledges this series... and not many other books do.

I've had this laying around my room for a while and finally got around to read it. But I was pretty dissapointed. Now I realize why only Kevin Anderson's Jedi Academy Series only really acknowledges this series... and not many other books do.
Here's the deal. These were the first series to come out when SW became a big hit again: Zahn's Thrawn trilogy and the Dark Empire comic. After this, there was a greater attempt to keep continuity. However, the aspects of one child born in Dark Empire while twins in Zahn's trilogy had to be adjusted. Also; Fett returning, the Emperor cloned, Leia being an active Jedi; these all have been challenged by readers since.
